Well, that was an entertaining show (almost all of it) but you need more memorable punch lines (or make it a bit shorter). If you guys don't work it up, this won't pass from episode 4.

Why didn't they just rip off 'A Dog's Life' or 'Okami'?
Ah, this show could use a little more conflict. How about a British cat in a Trilby hat who makes life rough for the GameDogs with his ridiculously high standards and snarky comments?
I think Gary has taken that spot.

I liked it! I dont mind the fur. :) Yeah, the jokes do need a little work, but like ya said, it's a rough start with anything. I for one, do hope to see more.

they should just drop all the characters and just make the show about Bob. At least with him I actually Smiled

I don't think a show has to have jokes to be entertaining and/or engaging.

While the first two episodes did largely lack humor, I think the larger problem is that I didn't feel like I had any reason to watch (or continue watching) it. It didn't really have a story or memorable characters, quotable lines or interesting moments (except when Bob walked in).

The closest thing that I think people can relate to with this series is the boring office environment and the banal, repetitive nonsense that goes on there, perhaps along with the boss who's a jerk. That, in itself, has plenty of room for humor; just think about what a hit "The Office" is!

The animation doesn't bother me; I think the dogs are cute (especially the girl one). I'm a dog-lover, and I'm a sucker for "dog movies" and stuff.

So, my advice (whatever it's worth!) is to play to the strengths of the show: trying to keep things interesting in an otherwise dull environment (most likely by having the audience connect to the characters), and perhaps giving the dogs more dog traits (such as Bob and his food bowl). The humor will likely take care of itself, and the show will be considerably more interesting.

Leave the audience wondering what's going to happen next, build some anticipation, lead them somewhere, have characters that are unique and memorable and interact in a manner that is interesting to watch, and give them a reason to keep investing their precious time in your show! :)

Still terrible. I will give it one last try next week.
Ye the dialog is not engaging and its even kinda boring.
And god how i wish Cuddles would jump on that tiny dog n rip its head off.
I think the creators should rly sit in the break room themselfs and have a complete re-design of their idea where this show is gona go. Cuz its just a fail atm.
right now only way ppl would see this is if there is a badge associated with watching the eps.

I'm struggling to see what market this show is aiming for.
I'll give it til the 3rd episode until I drop it.

EDIT: the animation is fine by me.

OK, and award for most improved in a single week goes to The Game Dogs! This is definitely going uphill, this week got a few cheap laughs out of me, especially the gradually improving spotlight on Chet as he came up with his idea.

Also, I'm just gonna say it before it starts grating on me, can we ditch the "Game Dogs was animated before a live studio audience" thing before it starts wearing out it's welcome? I get the joke, but I just know that it's going to start grating sooner or later :)
See, I see that and expect studio audience laughter and shit. There isn't, thank the Gods, but there's no point to it besides a quick one-off.

Better than pilot, but you've got a long way to go before funnytime.

It's getting slightly better with each episode, are you paitent?

CloudsApprentice:
It seems most of the comments are not very positive.
Sadly, mine is no different.
Your choice, but I really must say, I've never seen so many new people (Or minimal posters) in one thread, and about 70% of them are sending hate messages. Well, 'least you backed up your opinion unlike most people so hey, thumbs up for constructive opinions.
Well, I do like to give reasons for my opinion. As to the small post count, I simply haven't really been moved to post in anything. This was the only project on the site where I wanted to see what other people thought, and found that my views were along the same lines as most other people's opinions, only most of them neglected to give reasons for their dislike. But, well, as I said, I'll give it one more try. See where it goes.

its ok i guess but add more comedy as joker once said "why so serious" the characters are good but add in a few jokes that are meant to be jokes or make some not take the problem at hand seriously do throw in a witty remark add things like references to a online favorite or other game company please improve B- comedy so far

Wow, that was a nearly-incoherent run-on sentence! ;)

That's kind of what I was saying with my post above of suggestions.
My apologise I'd only read up to the 2nd or 3rd page of comments before I commented myself.
I'll take a look-see at your post now.
