The only requirements for enjoying the game are that you like hack&slash, difficult games and that you can ignore some extremely cheap parts.
Yes, the game is difficult, extremely difficult. But with some recognizing of enemy attacks you could do most of it without ever getting hit.(it's just that when you get hit, you lose 5-25% health on normal enemies, and up to 50% on some bosses, this is on NORMAL difficulty)
The game's only problems are the parts where "bullshit" isn't enough to describe what just happened.(basically every enemy has a bullshit attack, they can be avoided but that's difficult to do when dodging other enemies)
