Hey guys, I have some spare cash and I want to buy a new game for my 360 but I don't know what to get. I want anything fun that's not a shooter (I have too many of those). What would you recommend?

Wait a couple days for Batman: Arkham Asulym. If the demo was any indication, it's going to be amazing.

I'm looking for a severely good adventure game, for PS2/3 specifically.

Something in the vein of an Uncharted, or an Oblivion.

no way not devil may cry 4 that was horrible. oblivion is best left on the computer but street fighter 4 is very good.

Without knowing what games you have, this is kind of difficult, but nevertheless...

Mass Effect
Batman: Arkham Asylum (surprisingly good)
GTA 4
Fallout 3
Halo 3
Bioshock
And everything everyone else has said.

Of the games recommended I already have Oblivion, Fallout, Halo, and Assassins Creed.

I've heard a lot about Mass Effect and almost bought it a while ago, but the shitload of dialog seems like a problem for me.

Ninja Gaiden 2

The only requirements for enjoying the game are that you like hack&slash, difficult games and that you can ignore some extremely cheap parts.

Yes, the game is difficult, extremely difficult. But with some recognizing of enemy attacks you could do most of it without ever getting hit.(it's just that when you get hit, you lose 5-25% health on normal enemies, and up to 50% on some bosses, this is on NORMAL difficulty)
The game's only problems are the parts where "bullshit" isn't enough to describe what just happened.(basically every enemy has a bullshit attack, they can be avoided but that's difficult to do when dodging other enemies)

How about Psychonauts on PS2? Old, but I bought it via Xbox Live a while ago and havent regretted it.

Something that isn't a shooter on the 360?
Like not a fps kind of shooter? I dunno, all I can think of is Saint's Row 2, or Fallout 3. Those are heaps of fun. Nothing I've played recently has inspired me all that much bar those.
