Most games. Only if I knew I would be safe would I want to be in most games I like. Only some Wii games would I feel safe in.

Whatever place the sims live in. Imagine the horror that the free will you thought you had never existed and every decision you thought you made was made by someone else.

Any of them really. As long as I have a quicksave button I'm the worlds best survivalist, but in reality faced with say half life or resident evil type scenarios I think I'd turn my gun on myself pretty sharpish.

Either the Resident Evil universe, or Dawn of War's universe. Yes, I know 40K was originally from tabletop but who gives a toss? It's probably the grimdarkiest out of all the ones listed here.

Portal.
Doing lethal experiments for the rest of my life with a robot that insults my friendlessness and my IQ, and killing my Companion Cube. Not my cup of tea.

Silent Hill, Fallout 3 or wherever any Resi Evil game was set. The idea of monsters leaping out at you from dustbins, or zombies munching on your brains does not appeal to me.

Elder scrolls 4 (i loved the game) but imagine a world with only five or six voices you'd go mad.

Any devil may cry game, because you'd be constantly be relying on some pretty arrogant people

I am a very adaptable person so this is tough...Silent Hill. I FEAR THE PUZZLES!! (Yes, I am pretty impatient with all puzzles, so a lot of puzzle like worlds will infuriate me.=/)

The capital wasteland would suck bad. Not only are you surrounded by countless horrors (enslavement, tortured to death by raiders, eaten by molerats/mutants/death claws/yao guai/feral ghouls/cannibals) I can only imagine radiation poisoning must feel terrible as well.

Fallout 3 would be a nightmare. Any post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested, or otherwise modern crapsack world would not be my idea of a good time. That rules out the Fallouts, the survival horror genre, and most JRPGs.

I'd much rather live in a calm pseudo-medieval world like Oblivion's (where the annoying tendency of people to die of horrible infectious diseases that bothered reality would be mitigated by Cure Disease spells and potions.)

I actually won't mind going to Silent Hill. If only to have a peek at what kind of monsters my demented psyche conjured up.
My thoughts exactly.

As for a game world I wouldn't want to live in, for my humorous to me answer, Tetris. Or Prince of Persia, (Sands of Time series). You're going about your business, and a whiny kid with a dagger keeps rewinding crap and undoing everything. Jerk.

As for my serious answer, Fatal Frame. I got my reasons.

What about God Of War's version of Ancient Greece? There are rabid death-beasts lurking round every corner, the Gods are a bunch of in-fighting fartnozzles, there always seems to be some apocalyptic crap happening almost every other day and you never know when some bald-headed psycho will slice your head off with a nasty sword on a long chain fused to his arm.
All in all, it's a nasty place.

Any game world where I am constantly in danger of falling through the ground into 'blue hell'.
