I noticed you didn't include Chibi Robo on your list even though someone mentioned it, please don't let that gem get away. It's short, but it's a very cute platformer game with a nice story and beautiful level design.

Well one of my favorites, and one of my first FPS's was Gheist. Great if you have the car adaptor for our game cube, so you can stab your friends to death as a pair of scissors on a long car ride

Metroid: Prime is one of the best games ever. Still, Wii controls edition is better.
Sonic Adventure ports.
Skies of Arcadia port.
Melee is the best local multiplayer game ever.

Most good titles have already been named, but let me add one.

Baten kaitos
A unique RPG, both in setting and gamemechanics. Its pretty hard to get by (least on my side of the Atlantic). For a gamecube game, the graphics are pretty damn good.....but you'll have to put up with some earbleedingly bad voice acting.
Worth a look if you can find it for cheap though.

Metal Gear Solid; Twin Snakes (already on the list)
Well, its a good jumping on point if you dont want to play the nes games. It was pretty amusing.

I would say Eternal Darkness and Timesplitters too, but I never got a working copy of either of them, so I cant judge :p
i love you for beating me to saying Baten Kaitos, so fun...i dunno if you got as screwed over my first time playing though, got stuck underlevel on the gold ship >.< just could not beat that boss battle :(...returned the game to Rogers and rented it again the next weekend, restarted and super trained :3 wasted that boss battle with a deck almost full of time damage dealing swords xD strong things

Umm... I forget what it was called. Someone help me out. You were in control of these little army men? ARG. It was like Battlefield or something like that...?

Also FxG Racing or something? It was a really fast racing game that often induced motion sickness.

Man, my memory is dodgy today.
F-Zero GX?

I've only got these ones:

- Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest (though I'd recommend getting Zelda: Collector's Edition, but it's really hard to find)
- Zelda: The Wind Waker
- Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Pikmin
- Tales of Symphonia
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
- Sonic Adventure 1 (currently hunting around for Sonic Adventure 2)

But looking at this thread, I see so many more I need to check out... DX

Wind Waker is an absolutely amazing game. Other than that I'd definitely recommend Tales of Symphonia and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Super Smash Bros Melee is a real no-brainer, most would say it's the best game on the system.

I'm also going to recommend Super Mario Sunshine. It gets alot of hate from some, but I played it AFTER I played Galaxy, and I thought it was almost as good. That being said, don't go for 100% completion on that game unless you feel like you're just too sane, and need to add some crazy to your life. Because trying to find all the blue coins in that game will make you want to eat tinfoil.
