$100? For glasses... That makes my eyes less strained...

I could just, ya know... Shut the game off for a while? I mean, its kinda a cool idea, but not a $100 idea. I would pay $30-50, if I was feeling like sinking some money. But no thank you.

Although that is for a completely different reason than what they advertised.

Cool, so they're selling a pair of high contrast shooting glasses for $100?

For that kind of money I'd rather have some Oakleys, much better made than anything Gunnar has ever shat out. Or I could pay $50 and have a said of Gunnars identical in every way except for the gamer tagline.
Ah well, I guess the minor point that every human eye reacts uniquely to different tints will be lost on the kind of moron that would buy these, nevermind.

works with the properties of the human eye....you mean.....light?

protip: if you need sunglasses because of how bright your tv is....reduce eystrain by TURNING THE BRIGHTNESS DOWN

But these actually *DO* something.
Touche.

Sure, I don't need to be able to read, or even see, to use my PC.

Not being able to focus on anything is probably not going to help relieve eye-strain.
XD.

I mean, you can use contacts, but not everyone can wear them, many don't like to, and I have an astigmatism, so if I do, I have to buy expensive contacts for one oof my eyes or have...Less than perfect vision. Which probably makes the enhancement here moot.

BUT STILL.

Some time ago I read about how one can use slightly colored glasses to filter certain wavelength (aka part of the blue spectrum or something) that cause eyestrain. so when it comes down to the worst, those are just colored glasses with an insane price. But wait, isn't that the exact thing everyone expects?

There is a lot of evidence that light therapy has potential in many areas, I wouldn't dismiss it so quickly if I were you.

There is a pair of glasses that reduce screen glare thats a yellowish tinge. Ppl who wear them swear it works. They reduce stress on the eyes and reduce headaches from prolong staring of your computer screen. Those are like $300 a pair tho. so at $99 i think its a pretty good deal.

Prescription lenses are shaped glass, custom-ground to the individual. Gunnar, like most *sunglasses* manufacturers, just produces scratch-proof plastic.

And, of course, they've completely missed the majority of their target market, which wears prescription lenses/contacts.
No they don't. Give them your prescription and they will make a custom pair of lenses for you.

Bull. Shit.

I've gamed for 24 hours in a row and even after that my eyes never bothered me. Hell, my damn teeth felt worse than my eyes.

‎"It's still unproven whether or not the glasses will help you kill more 12-year-olds"- best quote taken out of context ever!
Also, one of the dumbest products I've ever heard of.

...now excuse me while I order a pair
