Title says it all, I'm simply looking for a game like Wet, Stranglehold and Total Overdose. Where you run around doing ridiculous combat manovures, shooting bad guys and racking up crazy scores/comboes. Ps3 and PC prefered.

Bayonetta? I dunno, It looks more like a beat-em-up in the vein of God of War and the like, which isn't really my style. I've been meaning to try the demo for it, but It's not on the PSN. Where can I get it?

It's quite good... It's hilarious and has awesome combat... part of it's charm is it never takes itself seriously...

OT: try the Gungrave games on the PS2 they're mindless and shooty and have plenty of style...<.<

As has already been said, Bayonetta. If you're looking for something a bit older than that, go with Devil May Cry. That was the first game like that that I ever played.

Vanquish. Vanquish. Vanquish. It has guns, slow-mo, and sliding. It's a shooter that plays like an action game.

Bayonetta is awesome but it's a beat'em up so it doesn't really play much like Stranglehold or Wet, which are shooters. Anyways, give Bayonetta a try, it's awesome.

Bayonetta was my favorite game of 2010 and Vanquish was my 2nd favorite.

Bayonetta isn't quite like Stranglehold, but it does put everything together much better.

Bayonetta.

And that game is is actually good!
Bayonetta is not at all like Wet. Wet on the other hand is similar to Stranglehold which is in turn similar to Max Payne.

That said, Bayonetta is actually quite a good game.

10.000 Bullets for PS2

think about it as the Matrix game, done right

you just gotta take time to get used to the inverted camera system that can't be modified

or Metal Slug 3D

it's not really all that good compared to the original Metal Slug games, but on it's own is quite good

Stranglehold does suck. Tequila Time engages even when you don't want it to, which ends up being a huge pain in the ass. Limiting its use is also hugely annoying. I'm interested in Wet because of its similarity to Stranglehold, and because it apparently doesn't limit the gameplay element that makes it awesome. TimeShift is similar to Stranglehold in that it limits the use of time dilation, but it's somehow much more plausible.

Try enter the matrix - lots of wall running/slow mo like those games. It was on PS2 and I think maybe PC too?

Funny thing is that Bayonetta and Vanquish are both made by Platinum Games + SEGA.

Another interesting fact: unlike WET, Bayonetta and Vanquish are actually great games.

I'm buying Vanquish off eBay this week. Just gotta wait for my damn PayPal payment to go through.....

We do not mention the name of That Which Must Not Be Mentioned. No, seriously, that game was like pulling teeth without any painkiller. Barely mentioned actors with no personality(Ghost, I'm looking at you), a thin storyline, and combat much like pissing glass.

Just not fun at all. Unless you mean ETM: Path of Neo. Which was the final nail in the coffin of a franchise.
