Legend of the Ghost Lion for the NES.

As a fan of RPGs, I had to get this for my ever growing collection. I will say...the gameplay is kinda easy at points and sorta MEH at others. However, it did do some rather interesting things like forcing you to "find your levels" rather than grind for experience to gain them.

Knights in the Nightmare, a strategy-shooter role-playing game. I haven't seen anyone ever mention it. It's a 2009ish DS game. Take Fire Emblem, add bullet hell and a timer. One of my favorite DS games.

I remember my best friend telling me that I should play that game... But, at the time, I didn't know if I should pick up the DS version or the PSP version...

Dammit! Why haven't I played this game yet?

It was a 3rd person shooter on the PS2.Honestly can't remember that much about it but it's memorable for being the first game I remember playing with cover based gameplay which allowed things like blind firing etc.Gears of War pretty much copied and pasted it's cover system from what I can see.Never met a single person who's played it though apart from my brother

Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death.

It's God of War in the modern day with a black guy as the main character.

And it's awesome.
I loved Marlow Briggs. It's so ludicrously over the top it's brilliant

Sin and Punishment. It's Space Harrier made by Treasure and it's awesome. I think it's on the virtual console.
There's a good reason no-one ever played it as it was never released outside of Japan until it came to Virtual Console.Great game though and the sequel on Wii was equally good

PSI-5 Trading Co on the C64 (it was out on other platforms but I think C64 was the best version)

It was really a "Captain Sim" rather than a "Space Sim". Had to manage your crew managing power, repairs, attacks, etc.
Do you shoot at a ship first before you confirm it's hostile for the advantage, what non critical systems do you disable for that extra engine speed, got time for those repairs? All the time your crew hard working away and chatting back.
It had massive amounts of personality, the best was turning on your emergency battery for the last leg, engines to full, being attacked on all sides and getting what's left of your ship to its destination.

Still to find someone else in the wild who played it.

Thank you! I couldn't for the life of me remember the name of this game or describe it well enough to get an answer, it's been annoying me ever since FTL came out. I just remembered it being f***ing difficult and introducing to me the fact that a parsec is a unit of distance and not time.

Gregory Horror Show, an obscure Capcom survival horror on the PS2 based on one of the weirdest, most obscure, twisted anime of the same name.

The game places you in a cramped, maze-like mansion filled to the brim with healing items, keys, collectibles, and souls - which you need to call Death in your sleep and continue the game. As the game goes on, the amount of enemies slowly increases, and despite a cartoony art style that looks like it came right from a cheap kids animation from the early 00's, the game is tense and genuinely frightening.

And nobody remembers it.

Last time I posted in these sort of topic, someone has played Gotcha Force, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System and Phantom Crash HOWEVER, I just remember one game that surely no one has ever played.

The game was based on this Canadian cartoon which I'm pretty sure nobody has heard of. I only came across it when I was channel flicking and found it on the Freeview kids cartoon (which they always get c rated cartoon shows or good ones that where out years ago). I end up watching several just to pass the time.

As for the game itself, it was somewhat decent but it pretty much made on a budget which it could of been better if they had more cash. The downside was that you can't change your dice set at the start of the game which is a shame since the shows had a whole bunch of different dice spell! Also the game was somewhat unbalance at time when I entered this desert, I was killed quickly by this specific monster party even when I used my best spell. I only got pass that by reseting the game and that party never appear! Also the game was short, typical.
