Weirdly enough, I still play Perfect Dark every single day. Perhaps it's just nostalgia, but fuck it, it's still fun! Timesplitters 2 is better though.
I never played PD when it was brand new, but I did try the demo on XBLA a while ago.
To progress I had to find a key to a door that looked like any other door, and there are a lot of doors.
Everything looked the same, and I just got bored after running around those offices five times without finding anything.
In other words, being a fan and knowing where everything is probably helps.

Of course boredom is what made me not finish the demo for the latest Turok game either, and that is still pretty new.

Half life 2 and its episodes.....
I looked it up, and... 2004?
Wow!
It feels like much more recent than that; I still haven't even finished the main game.
Still, I don't see how it doesn't hold up well, or at least I guess I don't agree.
A game I remember liking that I tried playing again a year back or so is Jill of the Jungle.
The 1-tile-scrolling is horrible, makes it really annoying to judge jumps.
I remember it was a matter of getting used to back then, but I just couldn't be bothered now.
It's somewhat similar with Tomb Raider.
It took me a while to get used to the controls, precisely lining up my jumps, but I think the game is still fun enough to warrant spending that time.
