Yeah, I like them both. But there's something to be said about a strategy game where you can mull over any and all decisions.Vhite said:RTS games. I love them but they don't love me back. Thats why I married turn based strategy games.

Where I fall flat with RTS games is usually micromanagement. Only RTS game that I was good at and that required lot of micromanagement was Stronghold Cusader Extreme. Sadly there wasn't anyone to play with on multiplayer so best I got there was solo against 8 computers.chozo_hybrid said:Yeah, I like them both. The irony of it all is that sometimes you'd wish you can have AIs as your teammates against normal people due to that fact that it seems like Dota 2 AIs are scripted to be the ultimate wingmen, they'll never leave you hanging and they'll always fight in tandem with you, unlike undisciplined players who will flee or refuse to cooperate over petty squabbles.BloatedGuppy said:The DOTA 2 Hard+ AI is a perfect example of an AI designed to be good as opposed to an AI designed to be entertaining to play against. They do a lot of stupid things, but they move in perfect cohesion with one another, and when the time comes to attack, they all hit within a split second on the same target. And that target is almost ALWAYS the human player. I had them charge past 4 very threatening AI teammates that were trashing a tower just to gank me. I wasn't even doing anything.SomeLameStuff said:The Dota 2 AI has this, believe it or not. It usually is incredibly thick, but occasionally, it can stun you on a 0.01 second notice, or just plain dodge skillshots better than most human players.
