Games that made you cry

Be it tears of happiness, sadness or rage, what games make you tear up? Now now, don't go all "tough guy" or "tough girl" on us, I am completely unashamed to say that Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 made me cry like a baby at both endings.

They just don't make stories like that anymore.

Alright, i dont think any game has ever made me cry, although I have gotten quite tearful at some.

Final Fantasy 6 certainly had some sad moments, and so did Majoras Mask (especially the dad who was cursed a mummy, SO sad D

But i will say that the movie UP! made me ball my eyes out, and made me tear up in when i watched in class (not so bad, all the guys addmittited it was sad )

The things the characters say at the Hero's funeral got me all choked up. The most emotional endings are never usually the happy ones.

OT: To this day, one of the most emotional scenes I've ever seen is when Dom finds Maria in Gears of War 2:


I shot so many Locust after this. It got me real choked up.

Final Fantasy VII made me cry, too.
I think it was the only game that made me cry.
I was desperate the whole day after Aerith was killed by Sephiroth and was looking for a possibility to revive her. And I always was sad while being in the Sleeping Forest or Forgotten City :´(

Mass Effect 2 ending too (if you survive). THe whole buildup of the final mission, the various consequences of your decisions during that final mission leading to a crescendo of music and atmosphere that always sends my heart jumping up my throat.
