Aliens vs Predator, it got a fair bit of hate, but i really liked it, the Marine and the Aliens storys were goot, i found the preadtor a bit meh, mainly because i couldn't get the hang on his controls and fighting style.

Anyone else play Majin and the Forsaken kingdom? Actually a really fun game!

I also LOVED the first have of Dante's Inferno which got sorta mediocre reviews, didnt it?
I own that game too but I still think in terms of quality it doesn't get more than a 7. I also bought Enslaved Odyssey to the West and was hoping more people would buy it since it was an insane amount of fun although it got higher scores than Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom. My game would probably be Last Rebellion and while I agree it wasn't the best game out there (far from it) it was still somewhat fun for me.

I bought Alpha Protocol recently, and I thought it was very enjoyable. Sure, it did have some technical issues, as well as several graphical glitches, but in terms of gameplay, it was a lot of fun.

Also, Nier was great. It was a very different type of RPG in terms of gameplay, and I loved the graphical style and storytelling.
Soundtrack was also great.

For a third pick, there is Metro 2033. It did get some very positive reviews, as well as some very negative ones, but in the end I thought it was a very satisfying experience, with a great plot and incredible atmosphere.

Then there is Dark Void. It wasn't great, but I thought it was quite fun and entertaining for what it tried to be. Going into the game, I wanted a shooter with jetpacks, and that is what I got.

Finally, Deadly Premonition... It's one of the greatest things I have ever sat through. I loved everything about it, even the bad aspects like graphics and controls. Everything added up to one of the most entertaining and fun games I've played in my life. I could probably go on for hours, but I don't wanna waste anyone's time.

As for this year, I don't think I have bought any new games. Still, I think Mindjack looks fun. Fun in a Maximum Overdrive kind of way.
That actually reminds me of something. Maximum Overdrive had Emilio Estevez in the lead role. He also starred in a film called Freejack, which had both a similar name and premise as Mindjack.
Well, fun facts.

Actually, the game looks really interesting to me. I may get it when the price goes down a bit. Is there any feature that sticks out about it?
Its sorta like Zelda but you have this giant monster to help you fight and stuff, Well one of the really fun features it has is the powers you can get for the Majin, you can combine your weaker melee hits with his elemetal powers to do some really badass moves!

Plus Play.com are doing it for like £17 at the moment!

I really liked Naughty Bear even though it took a serious kicking from reviewers...and everyone else. Setting up a strategy to force every bear into insanity was so much fun. It was flawed though, it became incredibly repetitive over time.
