Gotcha Force's voice acting is pretty bad but also endearing in a strange way.

Oh man I competely forgot about the voice acting until now! (I must of buried it in my mind). I LOVE Gotcha Force but yeah the voice acting is one of the reasons for the game being bad!

I would say Killzone 3. Not because it was bad, it was because it just sounded off.

I never thought I'd see Killzone in a topic like this. Malcolm McDowell, Brian Cox, Ray Winstone, and others... the performances are amazing! Maybe it's, as you say, the lip-synching, but I never noticed it.

I don't know if it's the worst I've ever heard, but it was the first thing that came to mind. Hard Truck: Apocalypse. Almost everything about it was dreadful, though still I was strangely drawn to play it. I guess I loved the idea of trading and buying new trucks, parts and weapons, in lieu of armour, swords and rings. Despite getting most ways thru I didn't finish it in the end, it was too painful. The gameplay wasn't there, there were many bugs and yes, you guessed it, some of the most wooden voice work in gaming. Behold.

I always found JC2's awful voice acting really funny because the rest of the game was so cheesy it fit right in, it might even be deliberate.

Resident Evil 1, it's so bad it's laughable. Here's an example:

*gun shot* What is it?!

*sees blood on floor* "What is it?!" "Blood"

*undead comes towards them* "Barry! It's a monster" *Barry brings death to the undead* "What is it?!"

*guy has a huge snake bite on his shoulder and is dying, blood squirts out of wound* "... ouch!"

...yeah. Maybe they sound tame here, but when you actually play the game and hear them spoken... uggh, facepalms abound.

I played the remake first, and the only thing that kept me playing the original was the voice acting. It was the funniest thing I'd ever played.

Don't have a video to embed but to me it's a toss up between Ranmaru from Samuria Warriors (I'm still debated what sex it is) or 1 of the little girl characters from Devil Kings I think it's the 1 with the giant rattles and I'm not willing to check.
