Dragon Age: Origins. I just...had to. I would've played it on Normal if the friendly AI wouldn't be so thick. Yes guys, those jets of flame in your face do indeed come from that pressure plate your standing on. Yes get away from them. No don't walk over them again dammit!! Death ensues.
Oh, so very much this. Dragon Age: Origins had one of the most insane difficulty curves ever. Ludicrously easy on Easy, Impossible on Normal. When I got to Orzammar and there's the bit where you have to cross the bridge? That was it. I literally tried that for hours without success, and finally, finally turned down the difficulty. Never looked back.

Oddly I've enjoyed putting Crysis onto easy. Don't get me wrong, I completed Delta, and really enjoyed it, but it's ridiculously fun to just run and gun everything: Really feels like a superhero! :D

Almost every game initially (except fighters) for different, yet the same, reasons:
RTS - Usually when I play them on Easy, it's so I can absolutely destroy my opponent
Hack N Slash - Playing one on hard defeats the point. You WANT to kill hundreds of people with one swing, not one person with one hundred swings.
Shooters - After I get used to the controls, I play on Hard. But it's fun annihilating people.

The only games I don't play on Easy are, of course, MUSIC GAMES :D

Mass Effect and Dragon Age

I enjoy RPGs. I'm just not all that great at them, sad to say.
I do that by default in most all games, really.

Street Fighter 4, only because of Seth being the cheap arse he is in arcade mode. I can't actually beat him on medium unless I'm playing as Sagat...

Dragon Age Origins ... Before they patched it. It became a little more bearable with my Rogue.

Oblivion, not seriously of course. I mean wheres the fun in 1 shotting most enemies? >_> A lot of fun in town on the otherhand.

everything, i have never tried to start a game on anything more then the easiest difficulty possible. if i really enjoy the story or the gameplay i'll run through again on a higher difficulty (usually the hardest) the first run is my version of the tutorial.

The only game in recent history (being the past oh I dunno... 15 years?) I've played on easy was Bayonetta. Thats because I knew going into it that beat em up games such as that aren't really my thing and I liked the flashy combos without having memorize everything. Even talking about it makes me feel ashamed :(

Dragon Age: Origins.

I beat the game on Nightmare, then with the Nightmare Plus mod.

But it felt so strange to have to bang my sword against an enemy for 10 minutes to kill it, so I set it on easy and felt like a massive hero for the whole game :)

Haha, yeah, same thing happens to me. At times I was wondering wether to give them better armor or to just let the my mentally impared companions to bite the dirt ...
