The first god of war. I had wo work my way up to God difficulty, and even then, I had to go to easy just to feel like I accomplished something...

Dragon Age Origin because there is only so many times I can get mad at the other characters till I had to turn down the difficulty

Bioshock, not a huge fan of how the combat works.

RTS', lots of fun but i seriously suck at them, i get bored playing them 'properly' (basically as a fancy version of rock-paper-scissors)

The first Dawn of War game. It really was my introduction to RTS gaming. It really showed as I, for a lack of better terms, really sucked at it.

There's probably others, but that's all I can think of right now.

Dragon Age: Origins.

Because I just want to feel like a badass. I just want to cruise through the game sometimes, get to the good stuff.

Bioshock 2, started on normal literally 5 minutes in swapped to easy, too much of a change though normal was too hard and easy was way to easy.

I play every game on easy the first time, so i can catch everything story wise, then the second playthroughs get put on the hardest difficulty i can handle.

Usually i start on normal or hard depending on the genre, but i will occasionally play on easy when i'm just in it for a quick but of fun. Honestly though, most games to me don't really qualify as "Hard." Mass Effect 2 and BioShock for example can have their difficulty curves broken with the right combos. Quick thumbs and a working frontal lobe break all games with regenerating health and no factor of luck.

Oblivion, but only when I was absolutely stumped. Like if I had no potions left and a whole load of very tough bad guys to kill more than one at a time. I'd give it a couple of goes, but if it wasn't happening, I'd put it on easy.

Half Life 2 and the Bioshock games.Don't really like the gameplay in either, but the story and visuals are worth playing for.

I'm ashamed to admit it.
Bit I played a few hours of Dragon Age: Origin on Easy. A friend of mine said it would be more fun than my previous attempt on Hard.

It wasn't, I still ended it after a few hours.

Dragon Age: Origins. I just...had to. I would've played it on Normal if the friendly AI wouldn't be so thick. Yes guys, those jets of flame in your face do indeed come from that pressure plate your standing on. Yes get away from them. No don't walk over them again dammit!! Death ensues.
I felt the exact same way. They kept dying and there were quite a few sections that I had to repeat more times than I felt necessary so I turned the difficulty down. Made the game more enjoyable and eliminated any frustration that I had.

I usually don't put many other games on easy, although I did the exact same thing during Dragon Age 2.

Dragon Age Origins, Its hard and if you don't build your characters perfectly your fucked. I'm not ashamed of it, I just had to make an adjustment to enjoy it.

None!

Bask in my infinite superiority, mortals!!!

[sub]Actually, I distinctly remember turning the difficulty down in both Fallout 3 and Oblivion at various points...[/sub]
I see you're getting into character with your avatar, very nice.

OT: Wow, there's alot of pansies in this thread :p I always play the default difficulty in my playthroughs even in IWBTG. I considered lowering the difficulty, but then I saw that that pink bow mocking me and I was like fuck that. However I did play street fighter alpha 3 on the easiest difficulty...and was still never able to beat it...
(I was like 7 and the game had no command list, leave me alone!)
