Crazy Taxi on Dreamcast. I haven't played it in years, but I grabbed the number 1 spot in arcade mode at least five times.

I think the only game I was ever disconcertingly good at was Mechwarrior 2. Used to play it online back when Mplayer was a thing, before they merged with gamespy. Class 4 is for bitches, Class 1 is how the true badasses separate themselves. If you know wtf I'm talking about, then kudos and exploding fist bump to you.

Rock Band. I'm listed in the top 2.3% on Pro Drums, top 0.6% on pro keys, and the top 0.4% on vocals in it.

I'm also pretty good at TF2 and Dota 2 although I'm nowhere near pro in those.

Tetris.

I could not have played it for years and once I start up again, it's like I never even put it down.
I bet I can beat you
While I believe that there is a possibility that you can beat me, I've played Tetris on every game system that it has been available in (just because I wanted to). So I would be interested in seeing how you would fair against me.

The UT series. Any of them, really.
Also, I can do some freakishly fast speedruns of the Monkey Island games (mostly the first two).

I've played Sonic Generations a lot and I'd say I'm pretty good at it now for the most part. Sure there's gonna be plenty of people who could run circles around me but I feel my times are pretty respectable (mostly).
I'm with you on Generations and Unleashed's daytime
I've been kinda put off Unleashed because of the Werehog levels, which is a shame because I played a demo of the day levels and I really enjoyed it. I'm keeping a close eye on the Unleashed Project :D

Is it worth putting up with the Werehog for the day levels?

A point of pride for me is (in Mass Effect 3) surviving a Gold match against the Reapers with a level 12 Drell adept, and not finishing dead last. I mainly stick to Silver, or Bronze if I start a new class, and after that Gold experience I don't think I'm ever even going to attempt Platinum.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games especially SoC and CoP, a lot of people seem to have real hard time getting through those games and I breeze through them on master like it's nothing. DoW II the last stand and while I really don't know why I'm that good at S.T.A.L.K.E.R. then 300 something hours on the last stand would explain why I'm that good at it.

The werehog levels feel like a God of War lite, so meh, but Unleashed's daytime levels are nothing short of awesome (especially the PS3/X360 versions).

The Contra Series. Pretty much all of them. People say they are hard but I can't understand why they don't just practice more.

Contra: 1 life, tied the world record
Super C: looped the game 9 times with 25 lives in the queue.
Contra 3: less than 3 lives normal, Hard Mode beaten once.
Hard Corps: No death (certain routes)
Shattered Soldier: S rank all stages
Neo Contra: No Death, S rank all
Contra 4: no continues, 18 lives left over.
Hard Corps Uprising: beaten with only dying once on final boss. 23 lives in the queue.

I'm not exceptional at any game in particular, but what I do have is a very particular set of skills across a broad range of games. I'm exceptionally great at racing, shooters, horror, micromanaging, RTS, God games, RPG's, the lot.

There are only 3 types of games I'm not ridiculously good at, and that's:

[li]MMO's (I'm average)[/li]
[li]Fighting game (I'm crap at)[/li]
[li]Platformers (including Mario and donkey Kong)[/li]

Apart from that I can usually beat a game in its hardest difficulty. If it's multiplayer, I pull my weight into a near 1.9 Kill-Death and Win-Loss ratio per match, and can even carry a team of deadweights into a victory against the above-average players in some games. Sometimes if I notice I'm stealing glory out from under a team-mates fingertips (kill stealing, unintentional resource greed, weapon hogging, etc.) I'll hold back and let them pick up a few points too, because it's not fun if nobody else is having fun.

I only struggle to beat individuals or teams who dedicate all their gaming to that particular game; for arguments sake, those 3.0 KD, 4000 games-played Halo MLG wannabe's who seem persistent to play slayer in objective playlists. I don't even play immorally, hell, I might stop playing multiplayer games on Sundays as it seems to be the day all the inept and immoral people play online games.

Trouble is with this people have different standards on judging whether they are good at something I cant count the amount of time someone has said they are ridiculously good at something only for them to demonstrate and you find they are either mediocre or pretty crap. Not always ofc some people are pretty damn good but whatever.

I would say I am not ridiculously god at any game but I am confident in my abilities at SF2 Turbo, CTR, and K-on on the psp or at least was I am probably depressingly average now at best.

I like to think I'm really good at Shadow of the Colossus. As I've pretty much played the game enough to the point where even the most difficult of the Colossi give me little to no trouble.

Although I have yet to tackle Hard Time Attack Mode oddly enough. :/

Some one, main part of his name was Raiden, tried to recruit me as a sniper in a highlander team in tf2 about 5 months ago... But I wasn't doing much else with my life so the skills were hard earned so to put it. They have gone now, constantly playing soldier and demoman didn't help. Been a while since I've played tf2 so if you saw me in action it wouldn't be very believable now.. :(

When I was playing Tribes Ascend I picked that up really quick and was soon destroying many as the soldier and Pathfinder class in ctf.

STALKER on complete mod or normal hardest difficulty has never been a problem. Maybe a few moments in Clear sky.

At present time, I'm not ridiculously good at any game D:

Most stealth games (MGS in particular) and Dead Space, seriously finished both on hard without ever dying...

I'm really good at Fallout New Vegas. I've done about 10-20 playthroughs, know how to walk out of Goodsprings with 25 stimpacks, and I know where to get every unique piece of armor and every unique weapon.

I also kick a good amount of ass in Devil May Cry 3. On my first time playing special edition (I was Vergil) I only died 4 times and 3 were to Cerberus (I hate that boss so much)I also didn't use vital/devil stars at all.

Lylat Wars, I'm fucking awesome at it. I've finished pretty much every challenge the game offers and have finished it well over 20-30 times so of course I'm good at it now.
HEY
I don't care what your backwards euro-hippie name for it is, that game is Star Fox 64!
You say it right.

lol anyway i don't have any competitive games i'm really good at (particularly because being really good involves doing you best to break a game and ignoring anything actually fun. you know who you are), but I am really good at making through Ocarina of Time without taking a hit.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

The amount of times I got accused of cheating in that game was ridiculous. Could win games single-handed, which is a fair bit harder to do than in your average multiplayer FPS.

Shame that it died and Quake Wars completely missed the point.
