Civilization 1-3.
Only bought them twice because it came in a package with the "Civilization Chronicles" collectors edition thing or W/E that I bought and got Civ IV with, and I already had the other copies from when they came out.

Minecraft. Bought once for me, bought a CD key for my friend and sent it to him. He then paid me for it so technically he bought it, though all transactions were under my name.

Have bought nothing else twice. Just not worth it. I get it on the PC, so I'm always with the best copy of the game [even if its a shit port can still use things like a PC connectible controller to play, though why would I], and there is no game I would consider worth buying twice unless I could sell it to someone else.

Mass Effect twice(I wanted to see how much different the PC version was... I actually still prefer the xbox version though).

Dragon Age: Origins twice(original version and the Ultimate edition, both PC).

Final Fantasy VI twice. I have the old PSX disc and I bought the digital version recently so I could play it on the go if I wanted.

Mega Man X on the SNES and Virtual Console.

Ocarina of Time on the N64 and VC(the Virtual Console version is censored all to hell though, so I really don't like it.)

A game has to be very special to me if I actually go out and buy it more than once. The games I listed here are just a few examples.

Note that most of these games have been bought twice because they were either: A) Better on PC (mods, graphics ect) and B) Recently sold my XBox to concentrate fully on PC gaming. I don't just buy games twice without thinking about it, I make sure selling the first copy can help cover the price of the second.

-Oblivion Twice (one on Xbox, then sold it and got it on PC)

-L4D2 Twice (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

-Portal Twice (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

-Portal 2 Twice (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

-Half Life 2, 2ep1 and 2ep2 Twice (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

-Fallout New Vegas Twice (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

-Limbo Twice (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

-Mass Effect Thrice (one part of PC Trilogy edition, other two on XBox)

-Mass Effect 2 Twice (one part of PC Trilogy edition, other one on XBox)

-Mass Effect 3 Twice (one part of PC Trilogy edition, other one on XBox)

-Rayman 3 Twice (one on PS2, other HD edition)

-Alan Wake Collectors edition twice (one the xbox exclusive pre-order, other a steam sale)

-Alan Wake's American Nightmare (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

-Assassin's Creed 2 (one on XBox, then sudden Steam sale)

There's probably more, but I can't remember. Most of these games were bought because they were 75% off or something on the steam sale, and I could sell my origal copy to cover costs.

By the time I sold my XBox, all the games I cared about were on my PC and any that weren't were either console exclusives, not a part of a steam sale or simply not worth buying again.

I bought Deus Ex for the PC twice. Not for the love of the game, but because the CD had exploded in my PC and buggered the CD drive.

I also bought Forza Motorsport 3 twice, but only because I was too busy dribbling over the uber cute asian girl who was serving me. I tell you, she could sell snow to the Inuits...

I´ve bought Master of Magic from 1994 about 4 times because its so damn good and I always seem to lose my installation cd. Now I finally got it on GOG so losing it is over for good I hope.

Also, Warcraft 3 and The Frozen Throne expansion, I´ve bought 8 times each. A few CD´s broke after I accidentally drove over them with my chair, a few CDkeys were lost because friends borrowed them and a few were banned because I lived at a dormatory with a shared IP adress and some jackass was caught hacking on Bnet. Also, I´ve got a few cdkeys for the bots I used to run so they all added up.

Other than that, Ive bought UFO: Enemy Unknown (from 1996) three times I think, again due to loss of CD.

Bioshock, first on XBox then on PS3, it's that good.
Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2), Substance (PS2)and the Vita version included in the Vita HD collection.
MGS3 Subistence (PS2), also the one included in the Vita HD collection.
Persona 4 (PS2), sold it but recently bought P4G for the Vita.

GTA: San Andreas (PS2), played my first copy until it died, still needed my CJ fix, bought another.

Ones that come to mind so far:

Plants vs Zombies (For Xbox 360, then PC when it went on sale)
Burnout 3 (Ps2, then Off the XBL Marketplace)
Skies of Arcadia Legends (to replace a bad disc)
Final Fantasy VII (PS, PSN)
Burnout: Paradise (It was cheaper to buy the full edition on PSN than a single piece of DLC on Live, so I bought it for my PS3)
I have a few games I technically bought multiple times as part of a Humble Bundle. I can't name them.

I know there are more, but not many.

I had to buy the POP: Sands of Time trilogy twice -- the first time as DVDs, the second via Steam -- because Windows 8 will not allow the Starforce DRM to be installed. At all. Thankfully one of my friends bought my old disks, since he's still on WinXP.

I've got a few.

*ahem*

Mass Effect*
Mass Effect 2*
Unreal Tournament 3*
Duke Nukem Forever*
Command & Conquer Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge
Half-Life 2*
Half-Life 2: Episode 1*
Half-Life 2: Episode 2*
Portal*
Team Fortress 2*
Portal 2*
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (?)
Left 4 Dead 2*
X2: The Threat

Items marked with a * are games I bought on two different platforms, in all cases it's both 360 and PC versions.

Of those, 5 were re-purchased when my 360 was stolen (ME, ME2, DN:F, MvC3, L4D2), 3 of which were stolen with it (ME2, L4D2, MvC3)

MvC3 is a special case, however, as I bought the standard edition first time, and after the insurance came through to replace the 360, I upgraded to Ultimate MvC3.

X2: The Threat is also a special case. I bought the original for myself, and bought my younger brother (who played X2 longer than I did) the X Superbox as a Christmas present.

EDIT: Further clarification. I bought the Orange Box 3 times. Twice on 360 (at the time I didn't have Steam and my first disc became so worn from overuse that we replaced it) and once on PC (mostly to fuel Garry's Mod).

I must have traded in and re-bought Oblivion 3 times. Traded it in whenever I got bored of it, then 3 months later had the itch to wander round and fireball people.

I don't bother trading any more, don't get any value
