I remember a fantastic little game that takes place in some kind of lab or space station where you wake up to discover you've been crafted into a human cyborg, and you make it your mission to escape. That'st eh whole game, you solve puzzles and take real damage. I may be mistaken, but remember actually limping when my leg was injured by a fire, and crawling after my narrow escape from a cyborg velociraptor. This game was totally novel when I found it, and totally forgotten by the world. QQ for it's loss and mad hugs if you can find it.
It sounds like it could be BioForge [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BioForge]. I only remember playing the beginning though; found it too scary at the time!

My vague memory of a game is one I played at school in the early 80's. I may be confusing it with Granny's Garden [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TioAwBFp2Y&feature=related], as it had the same kind of pixel graphics and text questions, but I'm sure I played this one at an earlier time, and different school.
All I can really recall is the map screen - I think there was a forest to the bottom left, a cave to the top, and maybe a mine to the bottom. You could choose where to go. There may have been a Woodcutter dude who helped you at some point, but I don't remember the goal of the game.

I vaguely remember an old 3D platformer for the PS1. It was a lot like Spyro, you were a red(I think) dragon that resembled Yoshi and I think you collected diamonds. Other than that I have no idea.
Maybe Croc 1 or 2? A green crocodile guy who kind of looked like Yoshi. You collected diamonds and there were little brown fur-ball people. I still play that :D
Holy shit that's the one! I miss that game...

There was this game I used to play on the Sega Saturn.
I remember there was a Skeleton in golden armour and lightning would strike him to give him power (maybe). I think the game had multiple paths and multiple endings and there was definitely a two player battle mode.

I think there was also an old man with a weird Pokémon style pet in it.
I also remember that there was a graveyard/cemetery stage and at one point there was a wooded area and perhaps even a coliseum (but maybe not).

I remember a game I played on the Playstation at a friends house ages back, which you took control of a bullet or a missle and had to guide it through an obstacle course to the end.

I'm not too bothered about it though, I found all my distant childhood games, including The Neverhood, Rats!, Super Mario All-Stars, Street Racer and some more I don't remember.
Could it be part of Rayman 2? (or even 3 but that isn't that old) You had to direct a flying barrel/missile/thing through a weird obstacle course.
No, it had a grimdark futuristic setting.

I'm looking for a game, I think it was for NES or Sega Genesis.

The game starts off with you running away from the shadow silhouette of this large beast.

Later in the game you team up with this large guy who is foreign to the main character. I remember this large man repeating a word that sounded like "Augusta, Augusta", throughout the game.

In one level you are trapped in a swinging cage that you must swing back and forth.

Can anyone help me with this, I loved this game.

Thanks.

Got a couple I can't remember for the life of me.

One was on the SNES it was a scrolling shooter where you controlled a kinda tank buggy thing with a cannon on and on the 1st mission you were dropped off from a flying ship into a muddy battlefield covered in bunkers and stuff. And if I remember you could also (sometimes) control a flying ship instead on the same levels (although I managed that by fluke button mashing once). I was about 8 at the time and had to give it back as I only borrowed it from someone I knew.

The other I only ever owned a demo for on the PS1, it was a fighting game where you selected your fighter alien/robot thing and were dropped onto a 3D battleground and could attack each other until one died or shunt them off the edge of the level. I remember one character was like a motorcycle/rhino crossbreed thing and had a charge attack. And that's about all I remember sadly but me and my friends loved that demo.

I shall copy my post from dosgames.com. I've been searching for this for fucking years..trawled through god knows how many DOS game websites. Found nothing so far =(

"It was a point and click game, cartoony visuals (similar in style to disney films) and the main character was a boy, perhaps the King's son? He had a sister with blonde pigtails.

There was some conspiracy and some evil knights I think.

The main character had very low ears. Like, his ears were attached way lower on his face than is normal. Each scene usually had little jokes and sequences you could activate although they served no purpose to the plot.

Oh and there was a mode where you could drag-and-drop the various characters and items into the main screen and they would interact or fight. Perhaps a minigame, I dunno."

That's all I can remember. I would be ever so happy if someone found this ^_^

I have ONE game i cannot remember the name of, but it was incredibly old (8 years ago?) and you controlled a tank, it was set in the kinda future, cos i remember...lasers and the like. I only played the demo, but it was quite hard, and it was a snow level. Thats all i remember :(
Sounds like Incoming. I used to love that game. I think the demo started in the snow and you had to destroy weird, silver alien bases with a tank. And that was a hard level. There were other levels where you'd fly helicoptors and planes and stuff.
Incoming is a seriously awesome game, I still have my CD for that.

Occasionally install it and play through the campaign. There are moon levels and ones on Mars too. And the ones where you control anti-aircraft turrets.

It's so cool ^_^

EDIT: Sorry, done doubly posted.

The second one could be FX Fighter.

It's not that, it's hard to describe the game as it was only a demo but the arena/map was seen from a kinda 3D isometric zoomed out view so you didn't fight like Tekken. I also remember there was a character who could hover/fly.

The second one : I actually think I know this one because I owned it, was it a game called Moho?

No that's not it either. I think the game had a longer name than that too. I'd try compare it to another game but I don't know a single game it was even similar to. If only I'd kept all those demo-disks and not thrown them away!

OK, my game was from 10 to 15 years ago. I assume it was for an early Windows OS, as that is what my school most likely would have had. Also, I had it at home...I think.

Anyway, you start off the game in a shooting gallery and you have to hit monsters with pellets. I guess once you hit a certain monster multiple times, you get that particular monster (I don't remember the point).

Then, there were other puzzles:
- A candle that you had to put together using different shapes
- A cave maze, where if you did the candle puzzle it was much easier
- A slingshot game where you slung eggs at a pterodactyl/bird or into its mouth
- There was also a part where you...maybe mixed paints or put some kind of liquid into a pot or something, I can't quite remember.
- A boat that you had to put together using different shapes, similar to the candle

However, I do know that it took place in an amusement park and the opening sequence to game-play was a continuing close-up on a boy's face that turns into a swirl...which led to the shooting gallery.

Beyond that, I don't remember much, just that I really enjoyed the game. Help?

Yeah, I still love that game. I suck at it, but I love it :3
Especially the alien levels. The controls used to invert so I couldn't fly straight (come on, I was like 5 when I started playing it :p)
