There's a game I vaguely remember playing as a kid, ran into a part I couldn't figure out, and abandoned it. I have no idea what ever happened to the disc of the game (pretty sure it was ps1 or ps2). All I remember is something about playing a guy sentanced to death for...something. So they put this weird mask on his head and dropped him into some sewer area. I don't miss it persay, but I would like to play it again just to see what else was to that game.
Ico. Totally.

With the HD Collection of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus coming out, you might get an opportunity to play it sooner (and prettier) than you think.
*Watches ICO intro on youtube* no, that's definately not it. The character being sentanced was a full grown man, and there was a crowd gathered around something like a gallows.

A PC game that featured these pink blobs of goo (or so I remember them..) which could be equipped with different weapons, e.g. flamethrowers and a canon. You would order your blobs to attack other blobs of different color. It's played in top-down view.

For some odd reason I remember that your blobs would sing "We are the champions, you are the losers" when you won. I think I played it around '98, but I could be wrong.

Any clue?

Edit: For some reason I remember calling it "gubby strong" but... that really makes no sense I think..

Thank you! Gods, I loved that game and could never find it because 25 years worth of mental bit rot transposed two @#$! letters. *facepalm*

Okay this is a SUPER tough one and I doubt anyone will know it. But here goes. I don't know which console it is for because I've always used emulators since my parents wouldn't buy me consoles. But I'm FAIRLY sure it's for either Genesis or SNES. Basically it's a top down kind of action-adventure-RPG with Ultima 6-esque graphics, though not quite as polished. It's set in a fantasy-medieval world, and there's a time limit. I'm not sure what all the objectives were, but one of them was you had to defeat all the bosses. If you didn't defeat the last boss before the time ran out, you lost the game and had to start the whole thing over again. I don't think it was actual time, but rather turn based, and every move caused a certain amount of time to pass. I remember it being super fun and it's been the bane of my existence for the past couple years, due to not knowing the name of it.

Did it have something to do with witchcraft? I remember buying a used game with an intro like that, too.
I think it did. Something about him being cursed, or something evil involving him thus they masked him and dropped him in the sewers. *shrug* It's mostly vague details I remember and little flashes of imagery.

I'm trying to remember a old game
It was demoed on a PC gamer demo disk (I only ever played the demo)
pretty sure it was in the 90's
you had different monster groups on a map that you would capture from the battlefield, and crossbreed them to make new monsters to go fight with.
I think you were attacking different territory's to try and capture the map.
All kinds of different monster combinations you could breed, and then summon armies of them to fight other monsters.

Okay this game was a trial i downloaded maybe 6-8 years ago. It was a top down space game where you controlled a single ship. Key parts of the game are being able to customize your ship with different ship designs. There is the ability to buy and trade goods between the different planets to earn money. You can also destroy trade ships or pirates to salvage money. You could hire other ships to join your fleet and use them to carry more goods. The game was divided between two main empires which showed up as red and blue on the map i think. There was also a third group which in the game had found alien technology and were technologically advanced. Also their was a lot of exploring to do in remote star systems. One thing i remember well is that when the trial was over an "enforcer" came out of nowhere and blew your ship to pieces telling you to go buy the game. Any help would be appreciated. Im not sure if this game is a space mmo or not but im thinking it wasnt.

Hey guys. I've been trying to find this one game for something to the tune of about 2 years now. I played it on either NES, SEGA, or SNES, but I cant remember the title for the life of me! I played this game somewhere in between 1993 and 1999, so I know for a fact it was not created after '99. I wish I could sing (hum) for you the theme song because I remember that clearly. But I'll do my best with a description.

First level/area you drove a car, viewed close up from the sky (looking down similar to the spyhunter series) avoiding hazards collecting power ups/items and MAYBE destroying enemies (memory is fuzzy on that last part).

Next level/area you play as a man, side scrolling from left to right much like a platformer, and I think you shot at your enemies here. You jumped over them and on/over crates and stuff, but you were outside.

Next level/area you're in a speedboat playing the same way you played the car level/area (I remember the stage timer here particularly because I remember losing to it often here, but I think all the levels were timed as well). Also, I remember that the stage wrapped around if you kept going to the left or right. Dont remember if the car stage was like that though.

Next level/area you were back to side scrolling as the man again. I remember when you played on foot, the area you were in was a cityscape. This could be either of the side scrolling stages or both of them.

Next level/area I remember, you were hang gliding through a rocky region with the stage side scrolling left to right (side view like the Gradius games). Thats the last stage I remember because thats where I always died as a kid, but I only made it there a hand full of times anyway.

Notes: It might have been spy themed but dont quote me on it. I may have the first and second levels switched, and subsequently the third and fourth switched as well. But I am certain the level/stage format alternated between being on foot scrolling sideways, and being in a vehicle scrolling bottom to top. There was no horizon line in the vehicle stages that I have played, and I don't think you were prohibited from going backwards within any of the stages with the exception of the hang gliding stage. I dont remember if there were any bosses.

I did my best providing as much detail as I can remember. I never got past the hang gliding stage so I dont know if my details will up hold after that. If I was unclear at any point feel free to let me know. I know for a fact that if I see this game again I will know it. So please, if anyone can help me by supplying any possible titles, I would be ever so grateful!

I'm still trying to find that Arcade Game... I just wanna see the dang thing in action again. The details are foggy, or else I'd have probably found it by now. The biggest detail about it is that you were a samurai like being, using a sword, and you had to wave the sword through a sensor like area to make your slashes and parries matter. You'd be fighting armies of demons, skeletons, and monsters, including an evil cat like creature, and I think a "Giant Foot of Stomping". House of the Dead, but set in Japan, basically (online with the above noted information, because they probably have a Japanese style House of the Dead, and it's probably either awesome as hell, nasty as hell, or weird as hell).

Any chance anyone remembers this arcade game?

I'm a huge fan of old school point and click adventures and I've been trying to find this one for some time but to no avail. Hope you guys can help me.
I don't remember the story, just that it's set in a fantasy world. You start in a house where you can make a cauldron appear by doing some magic-y stuff. Also there's a bat that you can summon that shits gold I think. From time to time a cut scene occurs where a slovenly bearded man laughs at you like crazy =\
Also, at one point in the game you're on a boat and a sword-fish punctures it. You have to act quickly to repair it, otherwise it sinks and it's game over.

Hey. This is a game that I remember a game from around 2000-2001. It was a PC JRPG, and played almost identically to final fantasy. All I remember was that you started in some ruined castle/tower, and all of your characters were essentially at level 9001, but it only lasted until you succeeded in climbing your way to the top of the castle/tower, at which point it reverted you to the main character at level 1 on some island. The main character had an eagle familiar of some sort, but I don;t remember it doing much. The island part was a bit weird, sort of like Besaid island in FFX, but with creatures that looked almost like the Pokemon "Quagmire". Also, the animations for the awesome spells at the beginning were Advent Children quality (that's probably a memory based exaggeration), and lasted about 2 hours each. If anyone has any info on this, PLEASE let me know!

A game I have never really played because I was around three or four years old at the time, but that I watched my father play a lot on an old computer, probably MS-DOS. It was about a rabbit... I think it was a rabbit, and he was delivering pizza working his way up through some sort of apartment building with many doors, and there were... things that tried to stop him. Sorry, the memory is really fuzzy.

Now that I see it written down, it sounds like something I hallucinated, but I know me and my dad had that running gag about the people upstairs being skeletons by the time the pizza arrived, so it must have existed.

Ok, hopefully I am not resubmitting one from the many pages here.

There was a game, for PS1 if memory is serving correctly, where you are a guy who can shoot like a blue fire/energy and use it to grab and throw your enemies around. With enough orbs or energy balls or something, it could also be red fire....

Wish I remembered more, hopefully this rings a bell with someone else!

Thanks!

Sounds like "Yo! Noid" a game sponsored by Domino's pizza using their mascot at the time who kind of looks like a rabbit.

Is this perhaps what you were trying to recollect?

On the NES there was a game that I am about 90% sure I had as a child. I remember absolutely nothing about it except for the picture on the cartridge: It's a space marine in full armor and helmet (all silver and pointy looking) shooting a dinosaur in the face with a laser-pistol. The dinosaur is red and looks like a T-REX only a bit spikier than what we depict them as being at this point.

Help please?
Not a lot to go on. My first though would be either Super Turrican or Burai Fighter.

Thanks a lot for those two but neither one of those are what I was looking for. Burai Fighter looked close but that wasn't it. The Dinosaur on the cover of this NES game cartridge (not box) is a red T-Rex literally being shot through the face by a laser-wielding space marine who looks very much like Brotherhood of Steel...only not since this is NES and Fallout didn't come around until a bit later.
