World of warcraft, with it's massive lore, numerous tactics and endless posibilites. Textures, mobs, quests, dungeons, roleplaying features and addons, it's the grand game of conversations! nothing much more to put to it.

Sauerbraten's the big one, definitely. Then again, the game itself has nearly fuck-all to talk about compared to other games, it's the community that counts. I've been playing significantly longer than most of the other community members at the moment, it's a game I just never fully left.

Also Morrowind... except the expansion packs. I only got them recently and none of my characters I had used since the computer virus were good enough to take on the main quests, so I kinda just fluffed about in Solsthiem and Mournhold...

What else... I suppose I can really rant about Zeno Clash if I feel the need to. Most of it's just hype for the sequel, though :p
(they haven't even released a fucking TRAILER....)

Red Dead Redemption I know a lot about and can go into detail about things. My fangirl-ness has waned a bit but in the summer when I first played it... I drove my poor sister nuts with Red Dead talk. Sorry Shay!

I also know a lot about Team Fortress 2.

Mass Effect- I could go for hours talking about the lore, though the true nerdiness has to come out when I talk about Dragon Age. I get to talking about statistics like Health and DPS.
Even I feel like shoving me into a locker when that happens

Granado Espada really. After years and years of playing I now know every single quest (theres a lot of them believe me) by heart, and these arent the kill x monster y, like half of them are go to some random coordinates which I know by heart. I can name every single one out of the thousands of items there are by appearance, I know their stats and usual trade price.
Also I can calculate any atk/dmg/attack rating vs def/absorb etc to final atk/dmg etc.

With all that knowledge I can make a new account and lvl any character from 1-100 in a day or 2 (without help or xp boosts or anything), when I first started I think it took me 2 months to do that.^^
I sometimes find myself thinking about the game and explaining some part of it to an imaginary person in my mind..

Max Payne. I've played through it so many times I memorize every single enemy position and scripted event. Unfortunately no one else really loves Max Payne that much. I'm not surprised.
Maybe that's because you're John Mirra?

For me it would be Pokemon. There were a lot of games that I really got into like KotOR, Mass Effect, Link to the Past, Halo, etc...but Pokemon has been with me since Elementary School.

STALKER SoC. Modded the hell out of it, looks better than Clear Sky at this current juncture.
Best atmosphere, bought it at release, still haven't uninstalled it. Only other game that's been close is System Shock 2 - but that's a goddamned nightmare to get running on modern hardware.
Yeah, these two.
I'm going to stop now, before the rant gathers momentum.

Mass Effect. I once spent an entire afternoon explaining the Krogan Genophage to a cousin of mine, ending with "it's the ultimate solution to overpopulation, mate!"

He called me a monster. Sadness ensued :(

side note: Can i get sth off of my chest? Simulord (OP) you look a lot like Jack Pattilo of RossterTeeth.

I'd say a few come to mind where when I start talking about them I have to forcibly stop myself when I realize I've been at it for half an hour and the other person is bored to tears!

Morrowind: Should be obvious enough
EVE Online: A lot to talk about and explain to people who've only played WoW
Chromehounds: I'd still be bringing it up to everyone if it wasn't for th fact they canned the multiplayer servers.

Honourable mention to Battletech and Legend of the Five Rings. People lose interest fast when they realize I'm talking about a tabletop game and not some amazing videogame they've somehow never heard of.

Dragon Age: Origins. In my defense, most of my friends play it so it's just a conventient conversation starter
What's wrong with Dragon Age? it was quite good... one of the best games of 2009...

OT: Team Fortress 2... one of my friends tried to argue that MW2 was just as balanced and well designed as TF2... I said, "hell no" and went off on him for a long while...<.<

I really like talking in-depth about games. My favourite games to do this for are Fallout 3 and New Vegas, because of the abundance of locations, items, and statistics.
Damnit! Well I'm definitely going to side with Omi here.

I'm sure that my knowledge is nothing compared to a lot of people on this forum, but I recently got very invested in Mass Effect 1 and its backstory.
