Only two I can think are Black Ops, I probably wouldn't of completed it otherwise dear god that was a confusing mess of a campaign and condemned criminal origins, in the dark whilst being the only person in the house, not my best idea I will admit but it certainly added to the atmosphere.

Dino Crisis 2
Pokemon Red (beating the elite four/Blue (Rival) not all pokemon!)
Bad Company's campaign
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat's campaign
I beat Baal in Diablo 2 normal in one sitting, Act 1 - finishing Act 5 and going to Nightmare. But I'm not sure it's possible without /players to do it all the way to hell...(now want to try)
Modern Warfare's campaign (second time around)
Black Ops campaign.

I suppose fighting games without a story mode don't count because arcade-style ones take at least 30-minutes.
So I'll go with:
Mirror's edge
Mortal Kombat 9( 2 hours just on Shao Kahn. *rage*)
Batman begins
Shadow the Hedgehog
Sonic Heroes
The Bouncer
and the Jurassic Park shooter booth at my local arcade.

God of War 3...
I'm not proud...
And my eyes burnt like a b*tch when I stopped. I don't think I went on a game for about a week after that.

-Portal 1 and 2
-CoD 5 and 6
-Halo 3 and Reach
-Doom 3
-Mirrors Edge
-Killzone 2

There's probably more but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm talking boot up to end credits here. What games, short or long, have you finished in their entirety in one sitting?

The ones I can recall finishing in one go:
- Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
- Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (campaign)
- Halo 3 (campaign)
And, of course, Portal. This will probably be true of everyone, though.

So watcha got?
I consider "sitting" a time frame of less than 8 hours of gameplay. Unfortunately most games fall into that category nowadays. And those that don't simply delay your activities between missions with travel time. Of course delaying the inevitable can also be fun sometimes...
So I beg the question; Was it worth the time and money spend on those games?

For games like Portal 2 and L.A. Noir it's a NO.
For games like NFS:U2, Okami, Hitman, Sim City 4 and Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, is a Solid YES.

Bulletstorm

Call of Duty Black Ops

Both were rather disappointing.....

Tho BlOps has bots for multiplayer so that brought much fun when I realize they fight back

Only one I can think of that is significant is Planescape Torment on my first run. About 50 hours I sat there.

I can't think of a single game that I finished in one sitting, except maybe portal.
This.

Except I know I didn't finish Portal in one sitting. /walk of shame
I remember playing for two hours one day, another hour the next day, then sitting back saying "what the fuck that's it?". Loved the game though, just unbelievably short. Even other really short games, like Mirror's Edge, I only end up defeating after a couple of sittings.

I usually can't play a game more than a couple hours a day, a) because I'm so busy (high school sucks ass) b) not many titles attract my attention span for that long

Of course there are games I've played like... 5 hours on end, but these were all 20+ hour games anyway.
