Mercenaries 2 was pretty damn unplayable. As for not finishing, there are many, but Far Cry 2 leaps to mind because I can't find anything so wrong with it as to render it unplayable (7/10, I'd give it quickly), but I could never get past the first few hours.

Two Worlds on Xbox 360. It ... was ... so ... damn ... AWFUL! Seriously, I was beyond hyped for a new Oblivion style fix, and I even got the Limited Edition. From Gamestop. That was ALREADY OPEN! I took it back two hours later, the bastards wouldn't give me my money back. I traded it in for one-third original price, and swore I'd never buy another game again unless it was from a publisher I truly love (Bioware), or I'd read at least two reviews about it. However, TW2 was NOT awful like the first, and I really enjoyed it to my surprise.

Mirror's Edge.

I keep trying, and I know I'm close to the end... But every time I pick it back up, I either end up with a terrible headache or just lose interest within a few minutes.

Not sure why, either. I like a lot of things about the game, especially the use of color. I just can't seem to get past where I am.

Like some others here, Bioshock. I know it's supposed to be one of the best and most important games ever, but after the big reveal I gave up. I liked the setting and premise a lot and parts like Sander Cohen were great, but overall the gameplay was very stressful and I just wasn't enjoying it. I don't think it was the oppressing atmosphere that was stressful, more like the game mechanics, such as the tedious hacking and the shooting, which somehow got kind of repetitive later on.

Darksiders, my favorite game to hate. The complete and utter utter blandness really gets on my nerves.

GTA IV: Great atmosphere, music, characters, humor. Shame they forgot about fun gameplay.

Grand Theft Auto 4 really boring missions with dumb attempts at humor and no mid mission checkpoints

It just felt like a chore to just play the game
Missions? Who plays the missions in GTA? I was too busy committing suicide by jumping out of helicopters (^_^)

As I've said in many places, Kingdom Under Fire: Circles of Doom. Seriously, do not buy that game. It takes boring, shits in it's mouth, rolls it down a hill, stamps on it, then fills it with 200% extra boring, then stuffs it with repetitiveness.
Run down this path, bash A constantly until things die and hope you don't die in the process, carry on running down the path, bash A constantly, run into a shop guy that sells nothing at all of interest, run down the path, bash A until you're killed by the repetitive enemies that have swarmed around you.
Oh, and there's a stamina bar you have to wait to recharge before you can attack at all.
Did I mention fights are made up literally of just bashing A?
That too.

Wow some of my favourite games have come up. But each to their own.

Mass Effect 1...just CANT enjoy it...=/
After playing ME2, I don't think anyone can enjoy ME1 anymore. That being said, at least they made that interactive comic thing so we don't have to touch ME1 ever again.
I love Mass Effect 2, and I played through it twice and got all the achievements bar two (complete on Insanity and also recruit the Merc - I would do it, but it costs 1200 points to download...) in the space of a month or so. My friend lend me Mass Effect 1 to play and...I don't know, I'm trying to get into it. Apparently the story is better (though I thought ME2's was very good), but I think it's the gameplay elements - you can tell it came out before 2.

Infinite undiscovery. The main character was so unlikable in the beginning I couldn't play any further to see if it gets better.
Likewise, although I think I got quite far in the game....but eventually I gave up. I was stuck on a boss for a bit and just had no motivation to try and defeat him. It was a poor game, with WAY too many characters.

Bioshock 2 - I just wasn't a huge fan. I had it on PC, but I never really got in to it.

Darksiders - I want to like it, but I just find it a bit boring. I'm not very far, and again I have it on PC.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 - Don't know if this counts as you can't really "complete" it as such, but I traded it in after a day. It's not that I don't like fighting games - I love Mortal Kombat - but I just got bored of MvC3. There was little to do and it was very Japanese.

Resistance 2

A drab, brown, loose and overall piss poor follow up to a solid and fun, if overly safe, 1st person shooter. Everything that was good about Resistance, that solid real feeling weapons, the half decent execution of an over-used premise and the good voice acting was canned in favour of token characters and a shit use of an over-used premise.

Gears of War: Didn't like the controls and gameplay

CoD:BlackOps: Felt more like a movie than a game. Seriously I stopped after I had to take out a guard and instead of having a cut scene of me dragging the body they made me drag it along a predetermined path. I could move the joystick to the left and I would still go straight etc.

LA:Noire: I felt after i got to Vice that is it was just the same damn thing over and over just different title. So it felt dull and didn't feel like I was making any head way, and you could put who ever you wanted in jail as long as you had the sketchy evidence to do it.

Lord of the Rings: Conquest: Fucking rage quit that one. It was just horrible everything.

Lord of the Rings: The Third Age: Again another one I just couldn't sit through. It was too linear, the randomish (glowing eye told you when things were coming up but they were still random) combat, the lack luster story.

And one I almost didn't playthrough was:

DA2: seriously i got tired of searching the same 3 dungeons, having bodies explode into goo, my warrior falcon punch of a shield bash, and the random spawn ins, holy fuck the random enemy spawns.

Oblivion. I played it for a few afternoons and on the fourth day couldn't even bring myself to start it up. Returned it and bought Arkham Asylum with the money, and I don't regret it.

Quest 64. I only played it as a youngster and really couldn't get into it. Luckily it was a rental.
I remember that game! I never beat it either, I got to the before-last boss with the total wrong elemental scheme so he was impossible. And I didn't feel like grinding to make up for it. But I liked the music.

Edit: Oh yeah, Half-life 2. The vehicle sections alone drove me up the wall but everything else felt so repetitive that it nailed it's own coffin shut. These days The Orange Box is only used for re-playing Portal or the occasional TF2 binge.

more recently:

FF 13 forced movies...I mean cut scene's put me to sleep about 12 hours in.

Dragon Age 2 combat got really boring fighting in the same places in act 2.

Too Human dying to enemy's who explode every time you kill them as a result taking you with them.

older:

Mega Man 5, I keep dying on over and over and over....

Prince of Persia, the crappy reboot one that didn't even have the same main character. Aside from the horrible combat and god awful acrobatics parts, during the first mini-boss fight i got glitched into a wall. Returned that the day after I got it and bought Mercs 2, which I absolutly loved.
