My brother bought me the Silent Hill HD collection on the PS3 which I have never played as I already have both Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 on the PS2 and have never felt the need to see them in HD.
Also Fallout 3. I picked it up in a sale and I have never got around to playing it, which people keep on telling me I should remedy, but at the moment Disgaea 4 is taking up most of my free time.

Orcs Must Die 2. Pre-ordered, looked forward to it with eager glee, destroyed one of my friendships because of it and never touched it again. Fuck that game.

Demon Souls. I played like, the first two hours of it and put it down. It's not that it was bad, but I still have it with my PS3 games and it's just like..it's there. I don't want to get rid of it, but I don't want to play it, either.

LA Noire.

Got 4 hours in, it's laughably bad. How the hell it got the reception it did is beyond me.

None for hipster reasons, but there's some games I never play nor have I ever attempted do so so and yet I bought them because...

NEED A CO-OP OPTION (these are mostly sports, racing and fighting games)

THE SAKE OF VARIETY (stealth games and a few RTS. Hardly touch 'em)

CULT CLASSIC STATUS (some RPGs like Suikoden or Shadow Hearts which I grew weary of before I got to play through them... in fact if anyone has played through I would appreciate a word of motivation, if you please?)
COMPLETE THOSE CCs - they are awesome!
especially Shadow Hearts!!!!

I've got a few games I picked up in Humble Bundle packs.

Nothing I've actually specifically bought, though.

Easy question really.
Many of the games I bought that belong to many different Videogames Bundles like Humble Budle, Videogame Bundles from Groupees, Indie Gala, Indie Royale, etc...
Most of them I bought them cause of specific games I want to buy cheap. That why I own many, MANY games I don't want to play....
Seriously, only in my Steam account I have 130 games and I think 90% of them is from bundles...
Plus I have Desura account.....so many games......
Now I think of it, can I give a game as a gift with my desura or steam account?

Everything.
No, really. I got my first job and went a bit spend-happy, and now even Steam sales hold little of interest for me - I already have everything. Haven't played more than 1 in 10 to any great extent.
It's not a good feeling. :(

Quite alot of games. Black Ops 2 because all my friends ended up getting Halo 4. Halo 4 because I only got it because of my friends but have no interest in the series. Darksiders 2 because the story is boring compared to the first one. XCOM because I only got it because I heard of how good it was but I'm not into sci-fi, I'm more of a Fire Emblem man. And all my fighting games because I have no one to play with and dislike going online.

I bought a Madden '05 game once, and I haven't touched it in years. I want to sell it, but I can't because any video game store is too stocked full of the games that they won't take any more.

There's a lot of games in my library that I don't play as much any more that I guess you could say are in this "no-desire-to-play" category.

Enchanted arms because it is the worst kind of JRPG nonsense with tedious gameplay, ridiculously stock characters and a story that's so boring and uninteresting that almost makes me weep.

Borderlands. Because it's the kind of game that sucks to play solo.

Lego batman. Take a guess as to why.

Brütal Legend. Played it once, that was enough.

Well none for the reasons you said but I do have games I never intend to play.

Shadowgrounds, I had never intended to play it. I got it because it was in a pack with Trine and it was cheaper to buy that than Trine on its own.

Dungeon siege 2, I got it because it came with Dungeon Siege 3 (which isn't brilliant but worth what I paid for it). I'd already played 1 years ago.

Overlord 2 because I got about 3 quarters of the way through ht first one before I gave up on trying to make it fun and the humour isn't really my type for the most part.

Divinity 2 is just really boring and even the promise of eventually being able to play as a dragon wasn't enough to keep me going.

Hydrophobia prophecy, I was kind of curious about it and I got it for a dollar. Ran into 3 major glitches in the first hour of play and even when it was working the game play was still bad.

Spellforce 2 is just all around terrible

All of these where bought extremely cheap so I don?t care. I don?t generally have this problem with the more expensive games because I tend to research them first so know if I?m going to like them or not.

Primal for the ps2. Picked it up some years back on the cheap but never decided to play it for some reason.
that one is a really good game, you should get around to it at some point, i bought it cheap and love it to bits.

for me it is Resident Evil 4, Rage, the Professor Layton games (which i can't trade in because they don't have the Australian games rating on them due to being a UK import) and Battlefield 3.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot Quake 3 and Magicka

I actually started playing it after work last night and I just completed Solum. I get lost a lot but other than that its fun! I am stuck on Undine now.... damn fish queen keeps dying before I can figure out how to save her :/

ah, i can help you there, the solution will be in the spoiler tags
As Jen, swim north, you'll see a trench, there is a glowing summoning stone, pull scree out of it and take control of him and pick up the nearby lodestone, return control to Jen and swim further north until you find the entrance that connects to the Dam lagoon, go through it and look for another summoning stone and pull scree through it, take control of scree and pickup the lodestone on the right side of the dam. at the base of the dam, possess the fish head statue, open the mouth and then retake control of Jen, turn the switch inside the statue to save Aino.
hope this helps if you decide to use it

I have a load of crap that came in with some bundles on Steam. A short list would be,

Virtua Tennis 2009
Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

There are probably a few more, stuff I wouldn't even play let alone buy. Thats one of the problem with the bundles on Steam.

Trapped Dead - a strategy survival rpg-y zombie game, sounds like lots of fun and is fun to play, but it's bugged up the butt and lags a lot.

Thief collect - bought it on a Steam sale, I'll play them...Eventually. Maybe.

Saint's Row 2 PC version - bought it, doesn't run properly, bought it again on PSN. Was fun.

Red Faction: Guerrilla - I own the original Red Faction on the PS2 (was the first game we owned on it), I'll get around to play it...Eventually.

I got Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War in the THQ humble Bundle, and I don't really have any desire to play it. That may not stop me from trying it down the road though.
