Games you regret buying

Half Life 2 and it's episodes. Luckily I bought them with the Orange Box, so I've got TF2 and Portal.

Red Dead Redemption was a good game, and I was determined to buy it after I gave it back to my friend. Then... the ending.

Bioshock. Got it in the Steam sale. Haven't played it past the third plasmid or so. The control scheme is horrible. It just feels empty. Would have been a better buy on 360.

Borderlands. Just crap. Luckily it was only £7 in the Steam Sale.

GT4. Almost all the way through the game I kept thinking, "I could be playing Saint's Rpw 2 right now." Not a good sign.

Rainbow Six Vegas, I bought it for 20 dollars and it was just so terrible... I only played it for five minutes before saying fuck this shit...

Star wars: the force unleashed. 60 bucks for what, 6 hours of repetitive gameplay?
That's ten bucks an hour. That's more than I was being paid at the time, as I recall. Not including tips.
Brutal Legend. Can you believe it trades back at 2 fucking dollars at gamestop?
Star Craft 2. Wow, not nearly as fun as I remember. No LAN, have to be online to install,
not being able to give/trade it to my friends, story = mostly dick waving, apparently there's a lot of cheaters online too...*sigh* maybe I'll be able to eBay my login name (its a rare one).

Oddly enough Oblivion, It left a bad taste in my mouth,
soiling The Elder Scrolls, Morrowind was superior.

Oh, and Metroid Other M, because IMO, it ruined Samus's mystery and character.

Too Human was diabolical in my opinion.

If the only thing u find fun when you look back on a game is the noise that happened when you jumped, then thats a poor quality game right there.

Metro is mt favorite game but I will agree that the gameplay was pretty cookie cutter most of the time.

It's not nearly as bad as people make it sound (I'm enjoying it in 20 minute chunks), but I could have put that $50 towards something else.

Opinions are divided on Other M. I really enjoyed it for the most part.

Mad World for me. It looked interesting but it just couldn't grab my attention for long. I'm not very far in it and I don't really think I'll be going back and finishing it any time soon.

How did you manage to play it for 6 hours without KILLING YOURSELF? I was super hyped for that game, when I finally bought it, I played it for an hour and a half before diving into my secret stash of extra strong pain meds, then crying myself to sleep.
