Super Smash Brothers Brawl - Filled with flaws and no where as good as the previous game.
C&C3, Tiberium Wars - Filled with flaws and no where as good as the previous game.
Pokemon Pearl - Did nothing new and is not as good as the previous games.

I would say the Wii as well if it wasn't for the virtual console.

Every year I buy Madden, and every year I regret it. I don't regret it YET for buying it this year, but considering I've logged about half an hour in it since I bought it, and don't see myself going back any time soon, I know I will. Usually I sell it on ebay while it's still fetching a decent price, but this year I'm gonna hang onto it with the hopes I'll decide to get into it.

Left 4 Dead 2 - Sure, there were plenty of new and, frankly, awesome additions, but at its core, it was just the same game as the original.

Empire: Total War: Nowhere near as entertaining as the previous games, and whenever I had played it long enough to get immersed, some game-stopping bug would appear. The sea battles were tremendous fun, though.

I regret buying Pariah. I regret buying Maffia 2 (for that price), I regret buying Napoleon Total War, I regret buying Heroes of Newerth, I regret buying Section 8, Command and Conquer 3, (a day later I found a C&C Saga with ALL but kane's wrath for the same price),Warhammer Mark of Chaos, Dark Horizon (Great game but bugged and imbalanced), American Conquest Collection, Darkstar One, And back before I knew about the comunity patch I regreted buying Gothic 3.

Two more, IL Sturmowhateverik, some flight game, and Medieval Total War (the first). Both were in German, something I failed to notice since they had placed a nice big sticker over "Complet in Deutch". #_# Also, Stronghold Legends. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know it was so bad as not to be worth 5 euro.

95% of my steam library. For 2 reasons, 1) Some are super cheep so you think why not. 2) nostalgia. Yes i loved the first GTA, i should buy it *3 mins passes* dam this game is lame.
I ended up with a whole string of arcade turret games in STEAM that way. RIP, I think. I need to not get drunk while Steam is having sales.

Star Wars Dark Forces, it wasn't that bad, but I still prefer Doom.
But... but... Dark Forces. :(

When did you get and play it?

Sacred 2. Normally I'm very lenient and forgiving, but G*d almighty what a rank piece of S*\t that was.

I could list it's faults and hand you a rundown of it's terrible game play, but I fear I would be here forever.
They somehow extracted the worst elements of the original, and kept those, while ejecting the good bits. I really wanted to love this game... :(

Bioshock, it was not worth $5.
You're trolling, right? RIGHT???
Probably not. Bioshock got overhyped to shit and back in the wake of its release. Remember, when the game came out about the only negative reveiw it got was from a PS3 fansite, that claimed that it suffered (among other (similar) things) from texture compression, which could easily be fixed when it got released to a blu-ray disk for the PS3. Now, overall it's a good game, but really? That good? No.

FarCry 2.That game was just annoying and frustrating in equal measure
I just could not get into that game. The AI just killed it, they would chase you relentlessly and spot you from ten miles away. Plus they took about a million bullets to kill. In fact, the whole game was a massive dissapointment.
I actually really enjoyed FC2, but that one needed another six months on the burner.

I literally forgot I have a copy of that. Then again, I only spent something like $10 on it.

FFX. Seriously, I stopped playing about an hour in before I died of boredom. I have never cared less about a bunch of characters more than that horrid lot.

Clearly I have a different taste in games to a lot of you escapists readers with some of the games I'd rate as some of my favorite games are in your lists but hey different tastes I suppose, but getting on the right side of the fence, as much as I played MW2 I really don't see the point in it, I only bought the game to keep the peace in my circle of friends cause apparently Halo 3 wasn't good enough for our mulitplayer needs any more.

But two main games I think took the biscuit on this one was either Devil May Cry 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2:

Being a huge fan of the 3rd Devil May Cry (the one I started on) and the first (the next one I played) 2 left me with a bitter taste in my mouth...The story didn't make any sense what soooo ever and game play seemed even less than Devil May Cry 1 and the second disc was just a pure grind to the finish just to say yeah I finished it =/

now the next one on my list is Ninja Gaiden 2. Now call me a noob or what ever the hell you want but that game just I dunno, bored me beyond belief maybe it was the serious ass kicking i kept getting from random enemies every five minuets, but over all the boss battles were too over powered... Now I'm a huge fan of a challenge in video games I mean I nearly finished all of Gears of War 1 by myself on the hardest setting until Raam came along and boned me from 1:30am until like 2:30am that I decided to go to bed as college was an early start that day, but never the less nothing compared to how stupid N.G.2 bosses were... In my eyes I was lucky enough to get it on sale second hand at Game station in one of their 2 for £25 deals they always have on, but even THAT felt like i was being conned!

but yeah, look forward to your rants >_<

Well I hardly touched the 2 Morrowind expansions and the MOHAA spearhead and breakthrough, but I got them so cheap, I don't care.
I know I get bored with most type of games once I figured them out.

The Burger King games. They can get old and boring really fast.

On the bright side they were pretty cheap.
Sneak King was surprisingly good for a game that was designed by Burger King to sell Whoopers.

I actually haven't had much in the way of regreted purchases this generation. I think I've at least finished evey game that I've bought save Red Faction: Guerrilla, and I only payed $5 for that.

Bioshock (Meh, just meh. Gameplay was boring and clunky and I found nothing in the atmosphere/story.)
The Witcher (May not have given this one the chance it deserves judging by other people's opinions of it, but the 1 hour I did try it out bored the tears out of me.)
GTA 4 (Found it to be bland and boring, the helicopter sequences got me frustrated and I found none of the characters likable.)
Mass Effect (I can clearly see why people like this one, but I personaly just don't like the combat and have an overall disliking for sci-fi beyond Starwars.)

Lost: The Video Game.

Damn, the reviews were right. Not even LOST fans can find it fun.

but... you lost the game.

ot: world in conflict. I don't think it was a bad game, its just I got it about 2-3 years ago and haven't played it once.
