Dragon Age: Origins
Fallout 3
DBZ Burst Limit
CoD: Black Ops
Halo Wars

DA:O and Fallout both suffer from the same kinds of issues I think. They're slow, clunky, and just not much fun if you aren't into exploration.

Burst Limit and Black Ops are just horrible games in general.

Halo Wars had potential to be fun, but the central hub base design idea is just bad, and it had a lot of balance issues. *cough* Warthog rush *cough*
Whaaa? Dragon Age wasn't really an "exploration" game. The story and RPG elements were the highlights. Fallout 3 maybe, but I wouldn't call it "clunky", assuming you knew how to use VATS.

Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon, some PS1 games I no longer remember and Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix on original xbox. All were bought by my dad, though.

Bad game I got personally: Prince of Persia. You know, the one with that Elika chick...

FF14: CE, honestly so far the only good thing about this was that little journal they give you... But that was then a $100 paperweight/journal.

Front Mission Evolved: I bought this with 0 research, hell I didn't even look at any screenshots of it. Serves me Right.

FFX-2: I loved FFX and I thought it was going to be more of the same but damn was I wrong

ANY Suikoden after 3, I rented them, beat them then returned them saying that they had "froze" or something similar so I could rent a different game instead

EDIT: DBZ: Burst Limit, honestly I got it for $5 BRAND NEW and I still regret it since my friend has a PS2 game with more characters in it like What.The.Fuck?

Also I'll count Two Worlds even though it was a birthday gift my dad got me, I made him waste $100 on a shitty CE of a game, sorry dad :(

Let's see... for me:

Shepard's Crossing - PS2 (Picked it up in a pawn shop, and it looked like Harvest Moon but wuth fighting. I was very, very wrong.)

The something of Mana game for the PS2

God of War 3 Collector's Edition (I played it once, it was fun, but I should have just got the normal edition)

Gothic 3 - PC

King Arthur The Roleplaying Wargame - PC

Agricultural Simulator 2011 - PC (I have no idea what I was thinking when I got this)

Magic: The Gathering - PC (Wasn't what I was hoping for)

Risen - PC (I just couldn't get in to it)

Metroid: Other M - Wii (Just... gods dammit. Gameplay was good, but the story and the where's Waldo bits angered me beyond belief)

That's about it for me, I think.

Matrix: Path of Neo (Hey, how about a game based off the Matrix, only if it had all happened completely different from the movies?)

The Matrix: Online (Computer couldn't handle it. Never got to play it :-(. I"m told I wasn't missing much.

Force Unleashed II (Wow, this is a great game I can't wait to play the next . . . wait it's over? That was three levels, plus 60 seconds of Yoda? I paid 60 bucks for this?)

Does anyone remember a strategy game called Impossible Creatures? Let me give you an idea of what a minute of gameplay sounds like.

THE CRITTERS ARE UNDER ATTACK!! THE CRITTERS ARE UNDER ATTACK!! THE CRITTERS ARE UNDER ATTACK!! THE CRITTERS ARE UNDER ATTACK!! THE CRITTERS ARE UNDER ATTACK!!

Ugh.

The Game I regret buying the most is MW2, i was persuaded into buy that piece of shit by all the kids on my dorm floor last year, because they all played it. Also because I actually enjoyed COD 4, i mean its not TF2 good, but it is still by far better than BLOPS and MW2.

I got King Kong on the DS just shortly after it first been released. At that time, there wasn't really much in the way of good, satisfactory shooters for the platform, so I took anything I could get! But... Well, y'know that saying that "some is better then none,"? Yeah, the idea of none was practically ideal after having played through that entire atrociously buggy abortion of a "game" in a laughable hour and a half sitting! I recall trying in vain to convince myself that I hadn't just wasted 40$, and that there were actually aspects of it that could be seen as redeemable. But no amount of self-persuasion could take my mind off the fact that what I had bought was broken beyond all comprehension!

My animosity for that title knows no end. It's right up there with Mortal Kombat Advance!

Let's see:

-MvC3; almost there...
-Castlevania: Lords of Shadow CE. I wanna like it, I truly do. But I don't.
-Brutal Legend. I figured it would be a short, fun game. It wasn't.
-Assassin's Creed 1. I had high expectations. Luckily, AC2 is better.
-Kingdom Hearts: CoM:RE. I have the GBA version, I don't know why I bought it again.

Honorable mention: Games I almost bought and I'm glad I didn't:

-Brink
-Dante's Inferno
-The Sims 3
-Black Ops
-LBP
-Fallout 3
-Mortal Kombat

Prince of Persia. that lame remake thing with the snarky nathan drake wanna-be and the complete lack of any interesting... anything.

Lost Odyssey... that trailer made me envision the best game ever. I start playing, multiple premature orgasms in sheer anticipation. and then! ...turn based combat... ridiculously lame TBC and the lame monsters and the bad travel and interaction with characters... didn't make it of disk 1 of freaking 4. kudos for those that finished it. you guys are real troopers.

Spiderman 3, I could of just gotten the PS3 version of Orange Box.

Fallout 1: Buggy piece of shit, thank god it was bundle with 2.

Far cry 2: A very broken game...But I admit, I have a little fun with some of the missions and there was a few moments in which I felt like a badass.

Godfather 2: Stupid ass game for stupid ass people.

Tetris: Damn it L-Block, you always T-Block me.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent- Tried multiple times to get into it, wanted it to be like Chaos Theory, eventually snapped the disk so I wouldn't be tempted to waste my time on it anymore. Buggy, bad AI, froze all the time, and had a lot less freedom than CT. Certain NSA/JBA choices were just absurd.

Grand Theft Auto 2: Achieve objectives however you want... unless they differ from the precise way we dictate you achieve them. Amazed the series survived to the 3D era, glad it did.

Turok 2: Don't think I need to explain. Ruined FPS games for me until I tried Halo 5 years later.

Didn't buy it, but regret the time I lost to it:

Some game called Political Tycoon. It was so incredibly boring.

Edit: Also, X3: The Terran Conflict. I bought it because I read somewhere that it was supposed to be the last of the space sims. I loved space sims back in the day. Tachyon, Independence War 2, Starlancer, Freelancer... all of them are amongst my favorite games. But the controls were some of the most convoluted I've ever encountered and I just gave up trying to figure them out. It also didn't help that the opening intro was one of the blandest, most underwhelming openings I've ever ever seen in a game. Still, like Yahtzee, I really hope that the space sim genre gets revived in the future.
Heh. Well... guess what was recently announced? [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LabrDe4XJo0&feature=player_embedded]

On topic: Probably Eternity's Child. Like some, I was fooled by the still images. Game sucked. Not worth the $5 it cost.
