Games you want to be announced

Fallout 4 (maybe a 2D over head view extra release thing like the originals i bet it would do crazy good on steam),
Beyond good and evil 2,
an original game with an illegigent story based on original concept(i'm sick of sequels),
kindom heart 3,
system shock 3,
XCOM 4 (an actual xcom game),
Valkyria chronicals 2(on ps3),
and half life 3.
TBH there are more games i would like to buy then games i would like to be released.
This was a really good year (last year to), and i literally have no money.
At the moment i'm living off tesco food

Fallout 4... by Obsidian Entertainment (I already joke with my friends that Fallout: New Vegas is actually Fallout 3).

THIS. I want more Fallout and I want it from Obsidian. Sadly, Fallout 4 is almost certainly going to be made by Bethesda.

Maybe they can stay in the pattern of Bethesda making a crummy Fallout game, and then Obsidian making a superior one on the same engine that gets panned for having a brain in its head.

I think the reason it got flak was because of all the bugs, it was also less consistent and as well put together as FO3.And the soundtrack wasn't near as good and there wern't as many radio stations.
I really miss those old top-down rpgs, it would be awesome if they HD redid all those games like fallout 2/1 and planescape torment.

I want City of Metronome to be re-announced. It was going to be an early Xbox 360 game, and the concept was so awesome. Record sounds from the environment and use them to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. Simply genius.

Kingdom hearts 3 would be nice as long as they made it more 'mature', I really loved KH1 but by the time KH2 came out I was already a bit too old to enjoy it honestly so I didn't even complete it.

I would love something in the 'Vampire: The Masquerade' universe with similar RPG gameplay.

They did make Forbidden Siren 2. On PS2, seeing as Forbidden Siren was originally on PS2 as well.

Ah, I knew it was originally a PS2 game, but I didn't know it also had a sequel. Unless they put it on the PSN store though, that won't help me much. I wonder what the team is doing now though... the PS3 needs more survival horror.

Would like an actual direct sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics (I dont count the advanced series) as well as a remake of the two original Metal Gear games with a completly re-written script but keep the story somewhat the same.

Yes, although some death woven into the story wouldn't be bad, it comes down to execution I guess (seewhatIdidthere.jpg). And they would also need to make disney stuff less...disney, or the contrast with the now more serious world would be weird I think.

I probably would've loved it at launch, but having played New Vegas beforehand, and now having played the first Fallout as well---FO3 just isn't up to par. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad game and I had a lot of fun with it. But it's definitely a very dumb game, and to this day I haven't been able to care enough to beat the main story once.

The environments and locations are really nice, but they don't make any SENSE. In fact, Fallout 3's full of stuff that's cool but defies all logic. There's also a woeful dearth of interesting characters, and an agonizing linearity in the quests. New Vegas is better in every imaginable way.

All that said, Fallout 3 was quite fun. But it really grinds me every time I see someone singing its praises, ESPECIALLY when they talk about how great the writing is, and even MORE when they slam New Vegas in the process.

Eh, 3 was roughly equal as far as bugs go. Bethesda just seems to get a free pass on that while Obsidian is crucified for it (again, not animosity towards Bethesda, just frustration at Obsidian not getting the appreciation they deserve.) Radio stations are superficial, but for my money NV's soundtrack was better anyway. I can sing nearly all the songs on NV still, while the only ones I remember from FO3 are "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" and "Butcher Pete".

As far as consistency and cohesiveness...uhm...NV annihilates 3 on that front. But this is spilling wildly off-topic so I won't enter my standard 6-paragraph rant on this subject.

Another game I just remembered that I'd be overjoyed to hear about is Bully 2. Bully's one of my favourite games ever, and there are so many places the story could go from its conclusion. Everything there is perfect, but there is so much that could be added! More cliques, more side activities, more vehicles, more weapons. Beyond that and the obvious new storylines and side missions, nothing really needs to be changed. I want more Bully.

Yeah i guess so, i think they should keep the cutesy-ness though(becuase it's kinda a kids game) and it's more effective when they add disturbing things.

I think part of NV's problem was that the gameplay had an identical feel to FO3's, because most of the work Obsidian did was balancing 3's broken systems and writing quests and dialogue trees with crazy amounts of branches and alternate resolutions. 3 was a game you can play for a long time, so most people had only put it down if they'd burned out on it---and then when they got NV, it superficially seemed to be more of the same, so they quit playing before they realized how much better it was in so many ways.

That's probably it; jazz isn't really the sort of thing that catches in your head and makes you walk away whistling, whereas country...is.
