There was a Halo movie being tossed around, but I guess it's dead now. I'd have liked to see that. Early Human-Cov war would be good fodder for a movie, especially if it spent at least a little time telling the Covenant side of the story as well (but then, I'm biased, I tend to like the Cov parts of the novels best).

Something set in New Eden. Something about Killzone. Not a direct adaptation to film, but something set in the Killzone universe. Like a classic war movie, but in space. Something set in the universe of Fallout 3. I can't think of any direct game-to-movie adaptations that would work, which is why I would just prefer to have movies set in interesting game universes. I would say a Bioshock prequel movie, but a Bioshock movie is already being made so I'll leave that out of the list.

Personally I think there's scope for several movies based in the warcraft universe. For example the Fall of Arthas [http://www.wowwiki.com/Arthas:_Rise_of_the_Lich_King], the Well of Eternity/War of the Ancients [http://www.wowwiki.com/War_of_the_Ancients_(WoW_account)], or Unbroken [http://www.wowwiki.com/Unbroken_(Story)]. Of course, 12.5 million people will massacre Blizzard if it's done badly, around half of which will still complain even if it's done well.

Halo.

The movie could work fucking amazingly IF and only IF MC is a supporting character.

It HAS to be set from a UMSC Marine's point of view and all the times we see the Chief, is when we see him kicking ass saving people or turning the tide of the battle etc. The movie is about the Master Chief but not from the Chiefs point of view.
