I bought Dragon age Origins for the ps3, then the ultimate edition for PC to take screenshots and to play all the DLCs.
I have 2 Mass effect 1 on my shelf too, I bought PC version 2 years after the Xbox version, again, to take screenshots.

Games I did buy twice:
Morrowind (X-Box, first disc was worn out, 2nd too, 3rd just didn't really get played anymore)
Thief 2
Sid Meier's Pirates (the recent version, not the 20 year old)
Portal (Xbox live and later Orange Box and now for FREE on Steam)
Jagged Alliance 2
Wolf 3D
Jazz Jackrabbit 1
Ocarina Of Time (N64 and NGC with Master Quest)
Metal Gear Solid 1 (PSX and NGC remake) PSX version still the best
Resident Evil on PS1 and NGC remakes

Games I've bought twice for various reasons...

Gothic 2 (And would buy it a third and fourth time if it would mean something. Best. Game. Ever.)

Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 (I lost Baldur's Gate 2's expansion disc and thought I'd start the first Baldur's Gate again and noticed I couldn't install TuTu unless I had Baldur's Gate 2 on my computer, so I bought them both from gog again. And I don't mind, Bioware's best games by far.)

Thw Witcher 2 (I had just bought it from Steam, and my brother bought a collector's edition, and he didn't like the game so I helped him by buying the game cheap from him to get all the lovely extra goodies. I love maps, and the Witcher 2 map looks great on my wall!)

I believe that's about it.

CoD 4, Halo 3, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Unreal Tournament 2004 and probably a few more less well known games.

I bought both Pokemon Diamond and Platinum, which is basically the same game twice. Of course, it could be argued that every pokemon game is the same, but I disagree and digress.

Games that I "would" buy a second copy of - both Mass Effects, Banjo Kazooie, Ocarina of Time (never actually owned the 64 version, just borrowed it from friends regularly), the Orange Box and KOTOR II.

I will probably end up buying mass effect 1 again as I stupidly traded it in.

I had thought about getting arkham asylum again after finishing it once and trading it (regrettably) but with arkham city around the corner I will leave it for now.

Also GTA San Andreas for the xbox seeing as GTA 4 was a major let down for me.

Also I bought the original version of Borderlands then traded it in against Gears of war 3 when I bought the GOTY version.

I've bought loads of copies/different releases of Broken Sword 1 & 2, Simon the Sorcerer 1 & 2, and Monkey Island 1-3. Not to mention Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas (PS2 to PC) Also, I'll most likely end up buying Red Dead Redemption again when this Game of the Year Edition comes out. Don't know when though...

Half Life, Half Life 2 and Eternal Darkness, mainly as I have bought all those games at least twice (i think the original half life is now on 3 due to the re releases with extra bits like Opposing forces and what not).
I've sort bought Pokémon Gold twice as I bought the DS rerubbed version as my original cart broke and I still enjoyed playing it from time to time, though that was less 'i wanted to' more 'well I've got no choice if I like saving games'

Is it just me or am I the only one feeling ripped off for having to pay 5.99 for wing commander if I already own it?

Does a WoW account count? Probably not. I wouldn't buy any games twice if I'd finished them.

I actually HAVE bought Saints Row 2 and Arkham Asylum twice. I really didn't expect to miss them that damn much that I would put money down for them a second time.

I also bought Call of Duty 4 a second time, although that is a purchase I regret since the community is dead.

I bought Oblivion twice, once for the XBox 360 and later for the PC, when I switched to the computer as my main gaming platform. Needless to say, it was completely worth it because of all the mods.

I also bought the first Mass Effect twice. Currently replaying it again.

Games I bought twice:

- Simcity 3000. It was one of my favourite games of my childhood, got me into jazz actually. Then my sister danced on the disc. Years later I found it again in a bargain bin, bought it in an instant.

- Oblivion. I never finished it on the 360, but then my 360 died. Then it was on sale on Steam. Insta-purchase.

- Bad Company 2. Played it on the PS3 for ages, but then I got a new gaming PC and BC2 was on sale, including the Vietnam expansion. So I got that instead and never touched the PS3 version again.

There are actually games I bought twice, these are BFMEII and C&C3.

Games that I WOULD buy twice are Terraria and Minecraft. These are games that I come back to time and time again after taking a hiatus to play other titles.

EDIT: I've also bought DOA3 twice because I gave away my first copy.

Only one I can think of is Megaman Legends 2... Along with almost all of my PS1 games (Like various Spyro games, Crash Bandicoot and MediEvil)

Knights of the Old Republic; I already have too, but only because it wouldn't work on my PC (still doesn't ARGH!); bought a disk copy about four years ago and then a Steam copy in the January sales and neither is compatible with my PC annoyingly. No idea how to fix it so meh, at least I didn't pay much for my second copy.
I may consider buying Rome: Total War plus its expansion again because my disk copies seem to have knackered; when I try to play the game it says some file is missing from the disk and I should reinstall it; did that and still not working... :(

I definitely consider buying Fallout: New Vegas or Oblivion again; currently I only have them on the 360, but I wouldn't mind having them on Steam or such.

Edit: Actually, I just realised I also bought Total Annihilation twice; once from a friend for about £5 a couple of years after it came out and then for 99p from Gamestation a couple of years ago; best. 99p. purchase. ever.

I ended up buying Fallout 3 (sort of) 2 and a half times - the vanilla version, the expansion pack with the first two dlcs on it and then the GotY edition. I don't regret it, despite its obvious counter-intuitiveness.
