games your parents love

Neither one of my parents is a serious gamer, my dad generally plays word games and we used to play a Star wars the clone wars game on the original Xbox. My mom likes game alot more than that but still generally only plays RTS games like Dawn of War II however she also played medal of honor, as well as Wolverine Uncaged and LOVES the newest Prince of Persia. So I was wondering if anybody elses non gamer parents fell in love with a particular game.

My mom loves Mario.

However she wont get me a Wii.

The closest my dad's ever come to gaming is pinball in his youth.

My mom, on the other hand, enjoys Guitar Hero/Rock Band quite a lot, and has been known to play Wii Sports.

Better than nothing, right?

My mom loves Nintendogs... She also likes Pokemon, Mario, and Legend of Zelda. xD
My dad wanted to like Rock Band, but declared the real guitar was easier, and it was nothing like the real thing. Who needs video games when you have actual talent?
I come from a musically inclined family.

lol funnily enough I got into gaming from my dad, remember when i was maybe 3 or 4 years old me and him beating super mario world and donkey kong and such. Even better about 3 years ago in vanilla WoW, me, my mom, and my dad were all in a top end raiding guild and would raid together every night 4 nights a week. God forbid If I won a staff from my dad though wouldn't hear the end of it for a month lol.

Passing the tradition unto little sister now , in fact a year ago was playing halo 3 with her (she was four), we actually went online and she got like 3 kills, which of course doesn't sound like alot, but she was only four years old. got her on the mic to tell them they sucked.

While my dad doesn't play games himself he does enjoy watching me play them and talks about how much graphics have improved.

My mom plays conker: live and reloaded currently and she loves mario games on SNES
but my dad plays in really rare occasions... BTW, my mom has completed yoshi's island 100%

My mum is obsessed with games from sites like Big Fish Games and Reflexive Arcade. On the plus side, at least I don't have to fight her for control of my consoles like I used to when I was playing WoW on the only computer.

Well, neither of my parents ever got into gaming, but I remember my mom approving of me playing the Carmen Sandiego game on the SNES many years back, because it was teaching me stuff and actually required me to think.
