My dad seems to be a real big fan of RTS games (playing mostly Age of Empires 2 and 3, and Star Wars: Empire at War) and he plays Excite Truck for the Wii from time to time.

My Daddy loves games nearly as much as I do. He's been playing them since his youth ( which was a very long time ago I like to joke ^_^ ) and wasted no time getting me a megadrive and Sonic the hedgehog when I was 3! A man of 45 who plays WoW, L4D ( and 2 ofc ) , Unreal Tournament and so on is quite refreshing I find. He is a moany old bugger though, can never stop losing his mind with Hackers on MW2 and stuff....makes this a very loud household. And my Mum plays RPG's and junk, and when she just cba she'll play Tetris and Peggle and so on, and she adores her DS

my mom finished Wolfenstein on I Am Death Incarnate more times than i can count on both fingers and toes, and my dad plays WoW all the time.

they both liked Mario Kart Wii tho.

I've been gradually introducing my dad to gaming. We used to play Mario Kart: Double Dash for a while, and I managed to introduce him to Kingdom Hearts II (surprisingly he likes it). When he gets time off from work, I'll probably introduce him to Star Wars: BF 2. He might like that. My mom is terrible at games.

My dad once played Civilization for about a week in college. He also played Wii bowling with my sister and I once. That's it.

While my mum does play decent stuff on the DS, like Professor Layton, she's recently become obsessed with FarmVille, just like everyone else seems to be I guess.

Me and her used to play a lot of games together when I was younger, mostly puzzle based. We spent forever on Myst and Lyra Croft, mostly because we'd turn it off every few seconds to look for walkthroughs. I miss thoughts days.
