House of the Dead Overkill (that made me sad because I pre-ordered it, but I have replayed it over 20 times)
most Fighting games (unless I'm unlocking content)

also me and my younger brothers can clean both of the N64 Zelda games in under 6 hours if we work as a team

I beat Halo: ODST on Heroic in exactly 3 hours and 45 minutes. At 5:00 AM.

Kinda disappointed by how short it was.

Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Katamari Damacy
Fatal Frame 1 and 2
Resident Evil 4 (an 8 hour session in the dark with my brother asleep beside me.)

Those are the only ones I CAN finish that fast.

The campaign of Modern Warfare 2. Actually, I switched turns with my 9 year old cousin who was visiting at the time. It took forever to complete that "Loose Ends" level together.

Doom3 stands out most in my mind because I remember having to go out into the sunlight and give my brother a ride from school after the all-nighter with my eyes-a-burnin'.

Sacred: 36 Hours about from start to finish on Medium(Main Quest)
Diablo: 16 Hours start to finish on Easy(Dungeon Level 1-13)
Resident Evil 3: 1 Hour and 11 Minutes on Hardest Difficulty without any Cheats or Boni, got S-Rank for that
Mass Effect 2: 40 Hours on Hardcore Difficulty, including all the Sidequests
Kotor 1+2: Each about 30 Hours, including all Sidequests

Thats pretty much all i remember doing in one sitting from Start to finish :)

Any game that has an overall "beginning to end" timeframe of up to around 10 hours. My list includes Call of Duty 4,5,and 6 (MW2), Half-life 2 and both of its episodes, or pretty much any action-oriented game or shooter that I have gotten my hands on. At worst, a game remains unbeaten on my shelf on average for maybe 2-3 days, but this is mostly for the RPG's. The only real exception to this rule has been Dragon Age: Origins, which I ended up putting down due to a lack of interest and later picking it up again just for the sake of beating it.

I have a tendency to beat games as soon as I get them, and then after that mess around with their extra content later.

My first handheld was a hand-me-down GBA and a brand new copy of Metroid Fusion I got as a birthday present. Having just beat Super Metroid (yet again), I was determined to play through the whole game with 100%. Sure it took me from 9pm when I got the thing until 3am to finish but it was worth it.
