To it's defense, it is a parry, not a block. It is supposed to be a quick reverse. But I see your point, sure.tippy2k2 said:Game: Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Cardinal Sin: Though shalt not make your block button the same as your attack button
On that subject... Thou shalt never take away controls from the player in the middle of a freaking fight (Fable 3 with its execution moves), leaving the player at the mercy of any enemies left.CannibalCorpses said:Thou shalt not ever...EVER...take control of my camera while i'm using it. This is one problem that really makes me flip my shit and gets me angry. If i 'have' to see something then make it a cut-scene but don't steal my ability to look around just because you think i'm so retarded that i cannot see the only lit area with the exit ladder in it. If you do make it a cut-scene then make it skippable...
Yes, Pokemon and A Link between Worlds. Although A Link between Worlds does it well I still think it's a pain and unnecessary.Varrdy said:Wow - this is actually a thing?WeepingAngels said:Don't use button combinations for save file deletion. Don't make everyone play a game of Twister with our fingers because a small minority of idiots accidentally delete their save file.
Sheesh...
Eesh! That sounds like what scientists would refer to as "a pain in the arse"!WeepingAngels said:[

A Link between Worlds = You choose to delete your save and it tells you what three buttons to push simultaneously and hold.
Pokemon = There is no option to delete your save, you have to hit three buttons simultaneously at the title screen and those three buttons change with every game it seems so you have to search through the manual to find out what they are. You aren't likely to commit this to memory since the button combination changes every game so you find yourself digging out the manual every time you want to start a new game.
You can't even start a new game and overwrite the old one and if you do start a new game it tells you that you won't be able to save, it doesn't tell you how to delete the old save. If you didn't have the manual or the internet, you would not know how to delete an old save.
Earlier in the thread, I had forgiven Metal Gear Rising for these sins.Roofstone said:To it's defense, it is a parry, not a block. It is supposed to be a quick reverse. But I see your point, sure.tippy2k2 said:Game: Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
