I hate games where you don't actually play, you just push forward and hope that mashing the fire button saves your ass, so you make it to the last cut scene and get an achievement.

Games that try to have really innovative ways of saving your progress. Like the chapters in Assassin's Creed or games that only let you have one save game which means either me or my brother have to start one on a different profile or wait 'til the other one's finished.

And really long unavoidable tutorial or starting levels like in Fallout 3 and Oblivion.

Glitches. Nothing grinds my gears more than working my way to the top of a tower made out of scrap metal by a psychotic old man with a grudge against the future version of you, then having my idiot friend fall THROUGH THE FLOOR as he runs over to remove an orb from the throne the old man has created.

But yeah, glitches.

It's really annoying when you play a game where you get AI teamates, but they're not nearly as smart as the enemy AI. They just exist to be targets before they die and the enemy focuses on you again. This would apply to escort missions too. It's like they're trying to die, making your job infinitely harder (RE4 was pretty good about this though)

Retarded A.I. For example, Dom from Gears of War 2. I don't like when even though a game has co-op mode, it kind of forces you to play it on co-op when you hit the harder difficulties. Playing Gears of War 2 on insane is too freakin' annoying to do with the A.I. It's like I need to play with another person to beat it.
When I finished Gears 2 on insane around 80% of my 'mission failed' screens were due to Dom getting his stupid ass shot or blown up.

They really need to fix his stupid brain.

Freindly AI should never cause game overs due to thier own stupidity.

Martin Septim in Oblivion was another one with the old death wish. Try the final few missions at level 38-39 and you'll see what I mean...

Games which give a "computers running last therefore it gets an advantage" games such as Need for Speed Underground.
Its known as catchup.

I hate many things about games, I dont want to list as it will soon become an epic wall of text.

I have to agree that games that give the computer a boost when its behind especially like in mario kart wii. I hate it when I get in front then get hit by 5 blue shells, lightning, and 10 red shells.
One time I was winning and got hit with a blue shell, 2 red shells, a green shell, and lightning and of course lost.
