Gaming Pet Peeves

Multiplayer, mostly cos of people with microphones now a days. Ive yet to hear someone use it for a useful purpose online. Other that to yell at someone or say "noob". I love the mute button.

I only hate it when people's mic's overdrive... it makes me soooo mad!

Getting banned from a server for being too good.

Yeah, it happens. I was playing on server on Rainbow Six Vegas, enjoying the match, getting a few good killed then getting banned for 'Cheating'.

Just because someone is good at a game doesn't mean they're cheating. Funnily enough, I've never played the game since.

Anyone else had this issue?

I hate the TF2 games were the host makes everyone play Snipers while he plays as an Engineer and sets up a turret and destroys everyone.

I dislike it when someone tells me to stop being a camping noob when I'm playing as a sniper. Isn't that what snipers are supposed to do? You're still free to come and backstab me.

Team stacking combined with rage quitting. Keep the teams even and everyone has fun guys.

hmm... this is kind of specific... but in S4 league, and some other online shooting games, I hate when an opponent takes about 50,000 bullets then turns around and one-shots you, clean.

Also, sorry, though this might be considered derailing....

I gotta say, did it become cool to look down on people because of how they speak? Their accents? People do it all over the world, its no different in the spoken word.

However, if you're talking about people who *try* to acquire the accents... wannabe-"gangstas" or thugs, then I completely agree. I agree if you meant purely in written language as well. I should hope you can avoid purposefully misspelling words...

Classes in WoW with stuns. I'm in a battleground hiding by the flag room and suddenly a rogue pops out of nowhere, stuns me repeatedly so I can't react even if I want to, and end up dead within three seconds. I don't know how I'm supposed to defend against that besides Ice Block and hope they get bored before it wears off.

Stacking is absolutely horrible in Far Cry 2. Low-levels literally fight to get on the good team.

I feel your pain.

I wash my hands every hour or two when gaming and they still get clammy and slip all over the controller, which leads to much frustration when playing online.

Also:

ANY time I see a timer begin.
