I still think Pokemon: Gold is the best pokemon game ever created.

That is not a sin. Gold was where pokemon reached its peak. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't have Mewtwo as a catchable pokemon.

I have a hate a teabaggers... but if the mood overtakes me i will unforunately do it myself... or as payback.

I used to think it was funny but now it's just old and stupid and a good way to show how young you are.

Quitting games before unlocking the cool stuff. I do that too much.

And can I just say 9 and 10 are bull. 9 is basically crying that you like Spartans too much, and 10 is saying not to use any weapon, because some people are sad with battle rifles etc. I know that anyone with the unfortunate luck to run into me with a plasma pistol will be dead in seconds. I know, laugh all you want, plasma pistol. But 1 charge and a couple of bullets from another wep, and bye-bye you!

And the only weapon that I consider a completely cheap weapon in Halo 3 is the freaking RL. Seriously, it takes absolutely no skill to use except perhaps not getting too close. >.>

The first one was awesome, but except for Chrono Trigger every sequel has sucked more than the one before until now it stands as a monolith of raw, unconstrained SUCKAGE!

I definitely agree except for maybe a very fair few like FF7 and 10. That's it. Also, I hate how there's so much acion and awesomeness in the trailers but when you actually play the games, it's just 10 mins. of standing around attacking in turn. GAAHHH! Don't lie to me, Square Enix!

Thinking the story of Halo 1-3 is actually pretty good. I mean, not Valve-Good, but not, I don't know, Crackdown-Bad either.

Thinking that Gordon Freeman sucks as a character, and is no different from any other mute protagonist you can think of.

Having never beaten a Mario, Zelda, or Metroid game.

Not hating post COD4 entries in the Call of Duty series. In fact, they're pretty good. Even the ridiculous stories.

Not giving a flying shit about the damn Companion Cube. It's just a cube, people.

But, but... The cube is your friend and does not lie! Though it would be a good idea to ignore it if you ever happen to hear it talking to you.

Yeah, see, that's the only joke that made me laugh in relation to the cube. Everything else, as far as I was concerned, was just part of the puzzle.

Neither have I, I'm pretty sure I'm missing out, but I just can't be bothered playing them.

Actually, there are a lot of games I haven't played. I've never played a Portal game for one, the only Final Fantasy game I've played was Final Fantasy Tactics on the Gameboy Advanced, never played a Metal Gear Solid game, never played a Castlevania game either...

I could go on and on, but yeah, heaps of games that people consider great I haven't even looked at, I'll probably get around to playing them all eventually, but still.

If it makes you feel better, by not playing the games, you dont care about HL3. Im not as hardcore as some other fans, but I definatly would buy it (for console) if they ever release it.

It feels wrong for enjoying that game when you realize all you've done for 3 hours is grow turnips and buy chickens. *Claps* ...Touché Japan.

OT: The Sims. Again, a game that you realize is nothing but messing around for a few hours. It's only when my cousins come over and bring it that I realize how badly I get caught up playing these. And I am ashamed.

The sims.... *convulsing on floor laughing* Oh the sims, oh oh god... That's rich! Oh, I hold much contempt for that game, there is nothing appealing about it.


OT: Whenever someone online utters the word noob in my general direction I refuse to participate anymore, teamkill if possible, and give out my teams plans, also I've played Rapelay, You can't escape the heroine, Tsukihime, Bible black, Catgirl alliance,School days, Cross days, Summer days, Lightning Warrior Raidy, Schoolmate, Every sexy beach game, Shuffle!, and X-change. I also hate every FPS ever except Half Life.

Hm... I commited the ultimate sin by starting AnUntitledStory on Nightmare and just giving up... before I got to SkyTown.

I have never played FFVII, yet I want the entire cast to die horribly just so they'll stop showing up in other games (dissida excluded, though I never played it.) Would like to play it just so I can try and see what people see in it at least, but don't have a PS3.

I love Castlevania, but have only completed Simon's quest and Rondo of Blood on an actual system. The first Castlevania game I played was Curse of Darkness, and I liked it. Mostly play (and beat) the Castleroid games.

I suck at most fighting games, and never played Street Fighter 2 back in it's day.

Alone in the Dark is my favorite survival horror game (1992, not the new one.)

I gave MW2 the chance to sell me on the series, couldn't stand it past the tutorial (Easy mode recomended)

I did a solomon run of Pokemon Silver, my Feraligator is about level 90, can't remember. Also, no nicknames.

My mom beats me at Dr. Mario all the time.

I run from a lot of battles in RPGs and end up underleveled for bosses (level 19 for the arena w/3 djinns in Golden Sun).

Have a copy of Mario's Time Matchine, though my parents bought it thinking it would be good.

Took me 10 years to 100% Super Mario World(started playing when I was 2)

Just as long to beat Super Mario Bros.

First Zelda was Link to the Past/Four swords. I arrived REALLY late to that party.

Was not completely wowed by Ocarina of Time, though I did like it. (Just as much as any other game.)

I like Blitzball (Only because I now have a team that's worth a damn.)

Still haven't beaten Contra W/O 30 lives, or play on an actual system.

Never played Megaman until at least 2008. Also, still can't buster run most bosses and require weakness on them.

not reloading until completely out of ammo-- i constantly have to check myself on this.

this made me laugh because i am the exact opposite, i reload WAY too often; if there is a single bullet missing in my clip i reload and this often leads to my death

- Finding out if I can kill a quest giver, doing so and then reloading to an hour ago out of guilt and in fear of Karmic punishment.

- In Left 4 Dead 2, piling up all the gas cans and gas cilenders in order to eliminate anyone who was unfortunate enough to play as Nick (Coach all the way baby!)

- L4D2 again, being at the front of the group and one-shotting every zombie in ther area with the shotgun and magnum leaving nothing for my team-mates only to run for the hills the second Tankie comes along.

- Collecting as many pretty items as possible and storing them in an owned house in RPGs, never to be used but safe in the knowledge that I have them.

- If an RPG has clothing option I will go for what looks good over what has the best stats.

- Attemping to murderize any NPC in a game that shouts "Please don't kill me" or "Help they are going to kill me".

- Using a handgun as a Sniper Rifle even if 9/10 times it fails.

Right now I've been doing my first play through of Mass Effect, it isn't as bad as DA2 because I am around three-fourths of the way through and I only have a little over 800 saves.

How do you get so many saves? Do you save after every conversation, enemy killed and corridor walked down? I'm just wondering because i have a friend that seems to have hundreds of saves on those games.

I go through Mass Effect with about 5 saves. Of course, that does leave me cursing when i die on Noveria right before the boss and then i have to do the Mako section again...

Hah, I'd totally agree with yo-- Wait, gold? SURELY you mean SILVER! Hahaha, no, but I did like that series of Pokémon over any of the others.

Cool kids buy pokemon Gold, not the Tarnished silver. Haha.

But basically it's the same game, with few exclusives.

Yeah, they're pretty equal. I just liked Silver because I had that for the longest amount of time, while my Gold was stolen from my mother never to be seen again, haha.

I save if I think there will be some kind of encounter, conversation or otherwise, and I also save after every encounter. I also save if I find some really good items, since the items you get from things are random and if I have to go back because I forgot to save, I might not get that item again.

I don't see how you could go through Mass Effect on 5 saves, unless you are playing in 10+ hour stretches, only if you are saving after each stretch.

In my first play through so far, I am at almost 50 hours played. Take into consideration and I talk to every single person and do every single mission no matter how small. Also, when I am driving the Mako on planets, I drive over every inch of them several times to see if I found all the resources.

The most I play in a sitting is from 2 to 3 hours, in the beginning when I first started playing, for the fist three nights I played for 7 hours each night.

I play most of my games on Medium (sometimes Easy) difficulty, but I'd never admit it in person. That's not cool.
I own a Wii, I only tell people I own a PS3 to look cool.
I'd never pay more than $20 for a game, unless it's cool.
I once had a chance to buy BG&E for $10, I did not. At the time it was not cool

But yeah, most of these, except I have an Xbox, I do buy relatively expensive games, and I have played mass effect.

Well, I tried playing Half-Life 2 but couldn't really get into it. I didn't like Metal Gear Solid (I can't remember which one I tried). I've never played Portal, and the only Final Fantasy game I've ever played was FFX-2 and I didn't even finish it.
I play C.O.D. games for the single player campaign only, I never, ever go online with any of them. And finally, I really didn't care fore the Nazi Zombie part of W.A.W.

How can you "Not like Gordon Freeman if your have never played a Half-life game? He only exists there and as a silent hero is only seen through his actions, which you haven't seen?!? This isnt a flame I just wonder....its wierd, do you not like valve? or read a web comic and thought Freeman was a dick or something? How did you come to this dislike?
