It's starting to sound like Full Life Consequences in here. Does this mean that global warming killed the pants?

either way, I have yet to see a disc cracked by these Eco-cases, yet I see plenty of people treating their discs carelessly.

I haven't seen those, but seriously if you are blaming the cases for destroying your discs, you are doing something wrong.
He can't be doing something wrong when all the game is doing is sitting in the case, then he opens it up and there's small cracks on the inside of the disc. I have these cases but don't use them, as I said, I leave them sit on my console.
I am only saying that I don't think the case is scratching the discs by itself, as that is not possible. There must be some kind of user action leading to this. And after all, these are your friend's discs, you cannot know how these discs have being treated. That is all I got to say about this.
Sorry, I must not have explained myself correctly. There are no scratches on the disc. The center circle of the disc, where the disc drive grabs on to spin it, has cracks that start at the center and work outwards. After enough cracks develop, the inner circle of the disc begins to chip, and then larger chips.

Now I get it. If there are such cases that do this by themselves, they must be quite a small minority. But after all, I still feel that user actions have their own affect on this. No matter what.

For the people that are saying this is user error, your wrong. I have the same problem with these cases. If it was my mistake for mishandling the disk then why are the games that i own in other cases fine. I think the problem is the center of the case is to large for the center of the disk causing the center of the disk to warp and cause the cracks.

Well, Zero, you've seen one now:

Ok everyone, here is the image of ONE of THREE of my friends broken/braking copies of MW2.

As you can see, there are small cracks all around the inner circle, and a large chunk missing from one area. Now, please tell me WHAT user error caused this, when all of his other discs have been fine for years, and this one is fucked after a month.

First off, spoilers man! Second off, there's always a chance for a faulty disc, I have a game that have used the Eco-case since they started and it's fine.

Just because the disc chipped doesn't mean it's the case, it could of been badly made.

But 3 (three) people I know have had this problem and apparently BULLDOGG33 as well. It doesn't mean it isn't the case either. I also said my friends copy of the Orange Box is cracking.

Or maybe you are just lucky. This isnt the only place that people have reported this.
