Therefore I think we can safely assume that these people are insane
This is an easily proven fact. I mean look at us. Every year we reward people for begging for money from those with it so they can run for office and then grant their lenders favors. Sound like a good idea?

Randy's being awesome again, you know what that means.

Seriously, the whole "This offends me, so I'm going to get it banned" thing needs to stop. I'm not just talking about games either. Parents getting books banned for bullshit reasons with the cry of "Think of the children" makes me lose hope, not for the upcoming generation, but for people I'm supposed to be respecting and look up to.

I can agree. I for one believe speech and expression are protected. Even if I don't like what someone has expressed.

If you think self indulgent posturing and swearing is the way to change the mind of middle America, then you are deeply mistaken. Middle America responded to the reasoned tones of of Martin Luther King not the violent rhetoric of Malcolm X.
Way to understate the importance of Malcolm X there. "Middle America" would not have responded to King's ideas anywhere near as well as they did if not for the scarier rhetoric of people like Malcolm X making King seem more reasonable by comparison.

The Supreme Court is probably thinking right now, "Good god, not this shit again. How were these people allowed into politics when they clearly have no concept of the government system."

Oh noes! America might end up having the same system that Europe has in regards to selling vidogames to minors!

Holy Cthulu zombie balls!

[sub]Seriously, it's not even that big a deal...[/sub]
It's a huge deal because that's not really the issue at hand here.

What California has to prove to the supreme court is that video games are not a valid art medium, that they have no artistic, historical or scientific value to society, and that they are provably dangerous to minors.

It's not about keeping the game out of the hands of minors, it's gaming as a valid medium that we're talking about here. They're essentially equating violent video games with pornography, and attempting to strip the medium of all first amendment rights.
Well not really, considering that the same rule applies to movies too, which are already a recognised art medium. The fact that games can be art isn't the issue, the selling of inappropriate material to minors is.
Um, no. Movies are not restricted by the government. It has the same system as games do with an ESRB equivillent.

I love Gearbox and Randy Pitchford.
They just tell it like it is, and say whatever the hell they believe.

So the tea party is helping the republicans by making them look reasonable?
