I bought those nerf melee weapons and my friends and I use them to fight. It's the only exercise we get.

I guess you could consider it LARPing, but we don't really role play and we actually fight (we look like we're really trying to kill each other) :D
Totally gonna do this o_O

I go to video game tournaments 1/2 times a week. Other than that I'm really not that bad, I don't even have a computer anymore.

Spending the majority of my days on the Internet, and spending the majority of my time on the Internet watching Let's Plays. I also do my own LPs. Does that count as geeky?

The closest my computer ever comes to off is sleep mode while I'm also asleep. I never close the tab holding the Escapist.

I still adore Digimon and recently rewatched the first four seasons. Probably won't be the last time I do so.

I have a tendency to correct my friends if they call an initialism an acronym, I sometimes randomly spurt out a useless pieces of information whenever I'm talking to my friends and I love finding grammar or spelling mistakes in a book... when I do I either e-mail the author or just sit there and feel superior.

That's pretty cool! What's your youtube channel? Or do you upload somewhere else?

Turning on my computer is the first thing I do when I wake up.
I do this, but I don't actually think it's a pretty geeky habit nowadays. I mean, you've got to make sure no-one's tagged you in those photos from the previous night of debauchery and if they have then detag yourself before anyone finds out... right? That's not just me?

Well I'm a GM for two different systems of RPGs, I play warhammer and warhammer 40k the table-top games, I play Magic the gathering and I know the lyrics to the pokémon theme song.

For example, when I get into my car I start driving, then like 20 seconds later I turn around in a panic to check the back seat (Mind you, I actually feel scared) to see if there aren't any zombies. I can thank zombie land for this one.

Rule #31 - Check The Back Seat.
Whenever I shoot a dead body when playing coop with my friend I shout -
Rule #2 - The Double Tap

Edit:
Every Wednesday that I'm home in the morning I'll usually be on my computer. Get on around 10:00 am or so. And from 12:00pm to whenever it comes out I check the Escapist every 5 minutes for Zero Punctuation. And Thursday for Extra Credits, but I'm not as thrilled about that one because I am a dumbass and they use big words...

i watch loads of LP's on Youtube

I make LP's for Youtube

I go to college to study game design

I love talking about hardware for PC's

I love talking about programming and hacking (i dont do the latter, nor do i condone it, i just think its clever)

i will find a game i like, and research it extensively, what engine, developer, how long it took to make, how the cool features in the game were made, read up on the characters etc.

So yeah, i am basically a massive geek/nerd, and i love it, although my parents don't

I watch things like "Behind the Scenes", commentaries on DVDs and generally read up on things I like. The PC goes on as soon as I wake up and I give the disk time to warm up while I go and get a cuppa.

I can probably quote the Life of Brian and Holy Grail word for word, and sometimes if either I or my dad makes a reference we can keep the scene going for ages.

I could go on.

If i watch a anime or movie or play a game i ususally read the entire wiki and other related things to get everything i can about backstory, characters and usually end up downloading the artbooks (if there is one) and getting the soundtracks.

I also like to build model robots like Gundam and wear T-shirts with anime characters on no one else recognizes.. and thats just a few of the things i would consider "geeky" about myself.. haha

I'll be the first to admit that I'm still pretty amateurish, but that has more to do with me not having money than anything. (Production quality, means of recording, etc. Though I feel my commentary could be better too. Commentary is hard to come up with!)

I read up on psychological illnesses in a lot of my spare time. Not exactly a hobby guaranteed to win me friends.
