You got me with Haruhi and Lucky Star. Although I wouldn't consider it unhealthy.Mordwyl said:* In association with the two above, you have an unhealthy obsession with anime series purely produced to milk you for all you're worth. (see Haruhi, Lucky Star and K-ON!)
You should really add K-ON to your list. It comes with Amnestic's Anime Attestation of Approval.Suiseiseki IRL said:You got me with Haruhi and Lucky Star. Because I am in the mood of derailing another thread, please summarize K-ON.Amnestic said:You should really add K-ON to your list. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind people being great anime fans at all. It's just the word otaku is tossed around so liberally in the west when in Japan it's a very very VERY derogatory term. If I don't want to see you address yourself as an otaku is for your own good, unless you want to have Japanese people eyeing you disgusted claiming you are one.Suiseiseki IRL said:You got me with Haruhi and Lucky Star. Four highschool girls join the music club to try and save it from being abolished, one of the girls has no musical teaching whatsoever. Hilarity ensues. I've been awake for many hours, so my descriptions are doubtless somewhat lacking. The only advice I can offer is to go watch it for yourself. It's done by KyoAni, who've also done Haruhi, Lucky Star, Full Metal Panic and Clannad, if you needed any assurances that the quality of art is good. It is, very much so.Suiseiseki IRL said:Because I am in the mood of derailing another thread, please summarize K-ON.Amnestic said:You should really add K-ON to your list. So I'm guessing since it's the same people that the sound quality is excellent?Amnestic said:Four highschool girls join the music club to try and save it from being abolished, one of the girls has no musical teaching whatsoever. Save it. You don't want to waste your going Gonzo on a throwaway post.Suiseiseki IRL said:So I'm guessing since it's the same people that the sound quality is excellent?Amnestic said:Four highschool girls join the music club to try and save it from being abolished, one of the girls has no musical teaching whatsoever. I reject your reality, and substitute my own. They don't all look the same you know....
Alright then. I shall have to check this out then.Amnestic said:Save it. You don't want to waste your going Gonzo on a throwaway post.
And indeed it is.
I would argue with that. Are you, by any chance... tweleve? Yes. This reeks of a twelve-year-old-black-microsoft-loving me. Hmm...Douk said:Its trendy to say geeks are sexy. Otherwise you'll be viewed as a dumb jock.
