Hobby isn't enough, because strange behaviour is required.Machines Are Us said:Can someone explain to me what a geek "looks like"? I was under the impression that your hobbies/interests define whether you are one, not your appearance.
I have several friends who could be considered geeks. Maybe only one of them looks a bit geeky/nerdy.

If a girl is into video games, D&D and anime then they get mega bonus points in my eyes.
Its not just that, I have found that geeky girls look more appealing.
Where are you geeky girls of Brisbane haha
First of all I'm much older than twelve. I guess I was too quick in my statement. What I mean is this generation has the media portray geeks and nerds as 'world changers'. I guess they would be sort of a 'hipster' if they talked about 'retro games' and obscure 80's junk, but that's today view of a geek. Back then it was just D&D and high pants.FROGGEman2 said:I would argue with that. Are you, by any chance... tweleve? Yes. This reeks of a twelve-year-old-black-microsoft-loving me. Hmm...Douk said:Its trendy to say geeks are sexy. Otherwise you'll be viewed as a dumb jock.
It isn't trendy. People look at you funny. And judge you. No real change from the usual, of course.
Oh hell yes! *drools*Major_Sam said:OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! DANIEL JACKSON! DANIEL JACKSON! GIMMEGIMMEGIMMEGIMMEGIMME!!!

Hah.. Let the creepyness begin..
Agreed, glasses are a definite plus.RedMenace said:Its the whole "Air of Intelligence" thing. Some people are attracted by looks and muscles, others by personality and brainpower. It also may be the glasses. I myself find the smart girls more attractive than the "beautiful" girls.
Give me an average looking smart girl with glasses instead of luscious boobalicious blond!
Same way here and I freakin' love it.RedMenace said:Give me an average looking smart girl with glasses instead of luscious boobalicious blond!
A superior Stargate geek character:Frank_Sinatra_ said:Win on so many levels.
Don't blame Shanks for being on the best sci-fi show ever.
I'll high five you on that one.axia777 said:I like cute brunette nerdy girls with glasses. Don't ask me why, but they are awesome. Fred from Angel is a good example.
True that man. *high five* I will take smart and cute over societies idea of "sexy" any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Another good one that did not wear glasses but was defiantly "nerdy/cute" is Gillan Anderson. So good. Also Kari Byron from Myth-busters. Hot artsy nerd girl. I would marry her had I the chance.Amnestic said:I'll high five you on that one.axia777 said:I like cute brunette nerdy girls with glasses. Don't ask me why, but they are awesome.
