Ive had several cats over the years and have tried to name them according to their personality but have not always succeeded

cats i have now
Morpheus: little black cat that is anti social, stupid, and tries not to be seen
El Diablo: fastest black cat ive ever seen, used to be a little terror when he was little
Lucifine: we got her after El Diablo so we have her a similar name but shes now refereed to as Lucy

cats i used to have
Miss Kitty: a grey calico the oldest cat i had lived to 20 and demanded respect was named after a character in Blazing Saddles
Odysseus: brother of Morpheus sadly his adventuring ways got him run over
Moon Boots: very lovable long hair black and white was so puffy we made the joke he wasnt waring a coat of fur he was wearing a space suit
Night Stalker: brother of Moon Boots and was all black sadly both of them got taken out by cars
Cruiser: not exactly ours more of a neighbor kitty that was the a lot like Moon Boots only was almost the size of a mid size dog as such we made the joke that it was like a battle ship while the other cats were like row boats

I have a male dog and a female cat.
Dog: Paladin
Cat: Banshee

They fight/play a lot, my RPG group find it amusing.

If I get a cat I shall call it Cat. If I get a dog it will be called Hound.
I'm pretty unimaginative.

I had a cat that passed away last year named Pebbles

My current living cat's name is Silvester

If I had my way he would have been named Xavier

I also would name a dog Dogmeat, or Chewbacca, probably a cat Chewbacca too....you can get them to make such funny sounds...

My cat is named Zelda. Slightly ironic because she's a fat, unclean *****. Lovely, but physically, an appalling excuse for a cat. Probably about 13 years old now, but she was a rescue cat, so we don't know her exact age. We've had her for 13~ years, though.

My other cat (which recently died/went missing) was named Yoshi, and was a fastidiously clean and actually cat-like cat. A bit easily startled, but a nice pet. She was just about 15, but in perfect health.
