I'm not sure if this was to do with geekyness, but at my old school a dog that was always there (I never found out why but it seems like it belonged to someone there) was named Zelda. Which after informing my friend we'd laugh after anyone would call for it.

I just got a dog a couple of months ago and i wanted to name her Tali from Mass Effect but my Mum said it sounds to geeky (even through she doesnt know what it is from) She said somthing lady like since she is a pure staffy that has a colours of a gang dog so i thought about Penny (Desmonds Girl)from Lost becasue i like the name since my WHOLE family loves lost but she said Libby also form lost so that is what they call her but i call her Tali
