Played Ratched and Clank remake for PS4 five to two years ago (playthrough took three years) and played some of the original two months ago, but was never big on this IP. Sly 1 and 2 were better.

I really wasn't into mascot platforming for a majority of sixth generation. I was experimenting with different genres and just wanted to play different games.

I didn't play Sly Cooper until 2021. That's why the nostalgia strawman is so dubious. I came to so many games late.

What's even worse is that they're going to replace the original version and charge even more money. So the only way to play the original version of Rift Apart is pray to God you kept the physical version. I traded the game once but, bought it again used, at a cheaper price, where the cover art and sleeve are all intact along with the disc. I'm never giving up that copy. My older brother has a copy too, and I will tell him to keep his.

I can't even tell a difference and I don't care. Sony is stuck in a rut. Make new actual single player games, you dumb asses! I just played this game last year, so it is still fresh in my mind. This game does not need any other enhancements.
I mean, it's just a matter of time before Sony stops the development of a brand-new game so that it can be remastered.

On a related note, according to Nintendo's quarterly fiscal report, the Szitch successor will release between now and 2099

I agree, though the question is now what form that BC will take. Full physical compatibility with Switch cartridges, or just compatibility with Switch software (which would effectively limit it to digital).

They are more than likely going to do cartridges and have digital backups.

You joke but that's really not an uncommon occurrence.

I think Onimusha started life as a PS1 game, but then was redone for release on the PS2. And Until Dawn started development as a PS3 Move game till they redid it with the Decima engine on PS4.

That's nothing new for console makers and devs/pubs in general. KI2013 Was originally a X360 XBLA game until Microsoft decided to move it to XONE. RE0 was supposed to be on the N64 before being moved to GC. Shinobu PS2 was supposed to be on Dreamcast, but I got moved to PS2, because the former was shutdown and Sega bowed out of the console race.

Huh
See as much as I’m a craven optimist, Mass Effect is a poor subject for direct adaptation because each run is unique to the player and if they just did like the top choice for everything we’d just end up with John Shepard the space asshole.

The only way this works and has the right base as far as I can tell is one of these two directions: it’s about the First Contact War or it’s about Anderson and Saren.

Finally a show that will respect the source material.......right?

They are gonna respect the source material right?
Honestly... I'd rather they not. Keep ME1 mostly the same, but 2/3 need some crazy rework, minimize cerberus, re focus on reaper and actually make the second game about the main plot and build up to a satisfying conclusion.

If they're smart they won't base it on the games at all because its a branching path RPG. Plus I don't want to hear endless fucking bitching over if we're doing Bro!Shep or Fem!Shep. Never mind who Shepard can romance. Like holy fuck, no, that is the last kind of bullshit any showrunner needs.

Again, The First Contact War or Anderson and Saren are the best choices for my money.
