Okay, I normally don't support Nintendo in suing people for copyrights, but these devs have no excuse if that happened; Like, wtf you can't make it more obviouson whom you are copying the art style from.

I have no 🐕 dog in this race, but I honestly don't care. I wouldn't mind this game existing and telling Nintendo to fuckoff. Palworld will never be an excuse for their dumb actions and trying to make an example out of a small developer, they know can't fight back.

I looked up the... "dev" Wisnu Sudirman (they've never released anything) here's a list of their previously announced games, all on the PlayStation store:

Survival Builder (release date 2025)

Rooted: Survival (release date 2026)
Super Capybara Adventure (release date 2026)
Orbital Station Simulator (release date 5/2026)
Supermarket Tycoon Multiplayer (release date 6/2026)
The Legend of Meowda: Brath of the Wild Cat (release date 7/2026, removed from listing, presumably for copyright issues)
Bikini Beach Kombat (release date 9/2026)

Anime Village Online (release date 2027)
Valhalla Online (release date 2/2027)
Counter Force (release date 3/2027)

They all look like mockbusters, a few of them have more images with a google search, but the images all look AI generated or at least filtered.

Anyone want to guess who this is...

No, not really?

What a shame. The Gamer™ outrage would've been beautiful.
Would have been rough on their fragile little egos, being presented as the racists they are.

All jokes aside, I’d imagine it would’ve been cheap knock-off of RDR2, probably with less guns, smaller maps, etc.
They would've chickened and bitched out. Ubisoft lost it balls the moment they cancelled Rainbow Six: The Patriots. Remember when that was supposed to be on 7th generation consoles? Then Ubisoft started claiming their games either have "no politics" or are "apolitical". The double language was there, even before they started constantly announcing that shit after the first Division game.

To keep the lights on. Grasshopper had to do a similar thing with Let It Die. Though, that was a major success and gave them bonus money. Money they put into their single player games.

Its just weird that they thought it would work. They seem to be under the impression that control is some sort of super IP that everyone is super interested in and would grab anything related to. That plus the fact that the market is super saturated, its really weird that all these dev that do these seem to just not play video game.

Now this is what I'm talking about! That's being creative with an IP! None of that Fornite shit, nor F2P game they announced a few years ago. This is a real video game! I appreciate the use of 2D animation! I am completely in! Give us a Dramatic Battle Mode, damn it!

Apparently BF6 on EA app is literally unplayable due to purchase error. And the director guy is apologizing and telling people to get the refund on EA app and purchase it on steam instead.

I honestly think this is on EA app management team, so he shouldn't be apologizing. But god damn, this might be the first time I've seen a dev recommending to buy their game on a third-party platform instead of the one hosted by the publisher of their IP games

So apparently Randy Pitchford claimed that Borderlands 4 wouldn't go on sale for "a long time".

Well....

As this is subject to change, the context: At the time of this post (one month and one day after its release), Borderlands is 20% off on Steam in the US.

I guess Gearbox "found a way" to make a sale happen, hm, Randy?

I've been playing this on weekends with a buddy. I have never had a single performance issue with it, but my buddy (who has a better pc than me) crashes all the time.

I'm on an Intel and he uses an AMD so I believe that the cpu is the reason behind the problems.

Otherwise the game is pretty good, the vault hunters are kind of boring, but the overall story and humor is way better than the Twitch Twin idiots from 3.

Massively excited for the Avatar fighter. It has rollback and crossplay too. The devs are the pony fighting game people so this is like the best of both worlds for an IP like this. And they’re doing 2D hand drawn art for it that looks exactly like the animation. Also the supports seem to behave like in Aquapazza where they stand in the background and may hop in and do stuff. They sounded like a mix of arcana heart and aquapazza supports.

I can see Toph having moves like Arizona, will definitely main her XD.

That's weird to me, because Borderlands games have typically favored AMD setups. Then again, this one is on Unreal Engine 5....
