I've had good times with the FF games but I can't work up any enthusiasm for them after FF10, and even FF10 I only sorta liked(I spent most of FF10 wanting to punch Tidus in the face....a lot). I even bought 15 on discount and can't be bothered to even install it knowing just how thrown together it ended up being(and all the DLC BS).
I'll stand up for the camping aspect of 15 (the first 1/3) which is a very unique and a fun road trip with your friend (who all later turn out to be total asshole, so really do bother going pass that). It nailed that aspect and makes me wish the game wasn't a mainline FF so they wouldn't have feeled like they were forced to do a "big plot" which ruined the game. Gameplay isn't that great either, here's hoping they do better with 16, thankfully that one won't have spend a decades in development.

12 is great... so that you can enjoy the rocketeer take on it, otherwise its very so-so imo (although the international/zodiac version allay some of the boring part)

13... wtf happen to square enix after PS2 I literally cannot understand.

I've heard the road trip aspect of FF15 is great, it's a lot of the rest of the game that has issues.

Honestly, it feels like SE is good at coming up with interesting plots and setting concepts, and for some reason suck hard at implementing them. Like the entire FF13 series plot sounds really cool on paper and very rarely works on screen. FF15 has it's plot all over the damn place....in a series, a movie, dlc.....and just doesn't know how to make it work

My main issue with 15 was how empty and lifeless the open world was. Most of the side content were just boring fetch quests.

The Royal editon of FF15 is great. I really liked FF15 and i feel like a lot of people dismiss it because the split media thing and that it completely abandons turn based gameplay.

It could have been better and with the new remade stuff added to 15 with Royal i feel like the game is a pretty good time for the most part.

Their click baity articles is one of the reasons I don’t go to their site often.
Honestly though, that is the ultimate pitfall of metagaming with a game like Mass Effect though, not a fault of the clickbait articles.

Because of this, I'm still in no rush to get a PS5. They don't even have a lot of the features and folders the PS4 eventually got updates. I'll just play the waiting game again.

While better than Bubsy, I don't think that many people are dying for Gex to come back. I play two of his games in my entire life, and I never touched a series again. Some things are just remain dead. Can we bring back Vectorman or Klanoa please? I'll take another Ristar or Dynamite Heady. Any of those are way more interesting. Hell, give me another Wild 9.

Wow. Guess he convinced his agent after all

Used to like Dorkly, but they tried too hard on the shock humor and got way too mean spirited for their own good (Pokemon Rusty). Became the web video equivalent of Drawn Together and Family Guy. I prefer Level Up and Team Level Up; those are some classy animators there.

Another pokemon Arceus trailer, and looking at it you'd think it's a game made by one guy on his free time in an engine he coded himself for the dreamcast or something, not the latest game from literally the most valuable brand in the world.

YO!!!!

So back in April PS+ gave away Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and if you got the Remake through PS+ you could NOT get the free PS5 upgrade.

But this week starting on Wednesday, you can get the PS5 version for free even if you got the PS4 version for Free! AND the DLC is 25% off, which means you can get the full PS5 version of the game for like 12 dollars.

That's cool. Can Sony sell me a PS5 so I can take advantage?

Has square ever cared for pcs more than consoles?
It sorta zigzagged. I still have a 4 CD version of Final Fantasy VII for PC. On the one hand it came with a Yamaha synthesizer plugin and enhanced music. I want to say the FMV clips were nicer quality too, but that might be me misremembering. It was even possible to mod the PC version, though I only remember a single play-as-the-Turks reskin.

On the other hand, the disk's were labeled Disk I, II,III, and IV while the disk prompts were not changed. Since disk I is just the installer, when the game asks for a disk you have to mentally +1 to whichever disk it asks for. More a problem on Eidos' end (they handled distribution for that version) but still sloppy.
