Geese and Krauser are both back, the last two chars will prolly be Kenshirou and Mr. Karate or Ryo. And they're likely saving Fallen Rock for season 3.

The same shit happened with countless MMO's trying to compete with WoW, every single one of them fucking died or floats around with minimal life support until WoW shot it's own dick off for a while. And guess that FF14 took the crown for a while but managed to shoot itself in the dick even faster and now WoW's got the bloody crown again.
"Success" is a relative term. Aiming for WoW and becoming singificantly smaller can still be a profitable venture. Case in point: Elder Scrolls Online came out with a whimper but is has released a steady stream of DLCs and generated 2 billion in revenue.

That's true, but I would argue that is not what these publishers are aiming for. And It ESO wasn't a big name thing, they wouldn't have bothered trying to "save" it. There are plenty of MMO's that hung on to a small audience and managed to make it sort of work, but that surely isn't what the goal was. Rift, SWTOR, Guild Wars, Lord of the rings, are all still around technically.

However the difference between these MMO's and these stupid hero shooter whatever the fuck, is that MMO's have degrees of solo content that can maintain a playerbase without having to group with people to functionally play the games. These shooters must have a sizable playerbase to simply be playable and that's why they just vanish where an MMO still might cling to some people.

Here's hoping they stick to their word on this point, and don't take forever. I don't want anything bad happening to Ninja Theory, but they gotta start putting more effort into these games than just the visuals. Y'all don't have Tameem anymore, so just do what works for you.

Maybe MS should stop funding bad games in the first place. I don't know why they keep investing in terrible ideas.

Sophie Turner as Lara Croft

Costume is accurate, almost slavishly so even. Tho got my doubts about the casting choice. Lara Croft does not exactly need much thespian skill, but some charisma and physical presence is, and I find Turner lacks both. Maybe it'll be more convincing in motion.

With NT at least, Microsoft keeps them around because of their motion capture camera technology. NT's one of the best in the industry. There is no lying in that.

She's not the worst casting choice I've seen. Lara Croft herself is sort of an unattainable icon of a figure so I don't think any actress could really nail her perfectly. Kate Beckensale 20 years ago maybe.

Sophie's a decent actress, so long as the writing isn't shit I think she'll be just fine.

I don't know much about the access, but she got the look down. Once again, I was never really big into the franchise and only played the PS1 games and Legends. I am glad that this character in franchise is making a comeback with the classic look again. I know a lot of the actual real fans appreciate what's going on.

Not excusing bad writing or anything, but a lot of the franchise's writing has never been stellar nor good. Decent some of the time; kinda meh mostly. Then, again, story was usually never the point for most of these games. And even CORE Design actually got sick of the character because of the publisher (Eidos were some real assholes) they were under at the time and not wanting to make any more after the third game.

Someone on Reddit has tested and proven that Monster Hunter Wilds on PC gets FPS increase with more DLCs installed:

Digital Foundry has also reached out to the user, so I am really interested in what the test results will look like

But if this is proven to be true on multiple tests, I really hope Capcom doesn't get any funny ideas from this.

I forgot that even existed. Is that the one by Amazon?

Never mind I answered my own question.
And speaking of Amazon:

At this point, the only solution I see is for the AI market/trend to crash, which I doubt will happen

Considering companies keep losing money, but don't wanna admit it to themselves, or their investors especially. The crash is inevitable. It's just those from the top won't suffer.

I dunno about a big crash of the AI market, but its not doing super good either. Company are having a much harder time finding use for AI than they thought of, MS is freaking out cause no one want to use co pilot, and their solutions is to shove it into people face even harder. The crazy stock price most AI company managed to reach looks more and more like they're just trading money to each other.

AI is not looking that solid, I don't expect a crash, but some sort of slow descent as things go back to normal.

I always hoped she'd be pointier.
