I finished the game only once on Wii, and I did not like the metroidvania aspects. Hopefully they can do improvements by having better map navigation, or arrows that lead your straight to the correct path. I did not like the story much on Momohime's side. I didn't bother with the multiple endings either. I am glad this game is getting an English dub for the first time.

Yeah, as glad as I am that Vanillaware is finally releasing on PC, I wish it was a different game.
According to Valve people have tons of options to buy games from other platforms and vendors. Everything will be fine. /S.

They were going to do it but changed at the last minute. This is actually old news and was revealed at least three days ago, after the xbox showing. While impressive, it's just another 360 game trying to recapture the magic. I'll give credit where credit is due, but i'm not a Gears fan and Playstation fans aren't really losing much anyway. Don't give microsoft too much credit either, as they've been flip flopping on a dime, the past couple of years now. Don't be surprised if they try to lie or say people were mistaken, and called it a timed exclusive.
Kinda weird they didn't start with odin sphere, its far better known and respected and had a remake. I guess maybe they're doing port for all of them but they just announced this one cause it was for nintendo direct?

Well, they have been paranoid about releasing on pc. Maybe this is just a 'dipping their toes into the market to see what players do' kinda thing.
You know what, I think this is exactly what I want from a Halo Remake.
Although, I kinda miss the covenants speaking more of their language. I mean what reason would they have to say something in English?

Also, the new Gears releases in october. Why drop the PS5 version this late in the game? Now it just means a bunch of work wasted and a nearly complete PS5 version sitting on a drive somewhere.
And you know what might help a franchise that thrives on its MP? An extra 90+ mil of potential install base.

Microsoft will never learn a damn thing. Just like their decision with making Gears an exclusive again. They're really only shooting themselves in a foot. They can't fail upward forever.

A new trailer was posted earlier this morning, and I did not know. The game is a rogue like, but you can skip levels or bosses you have already beaten.

Its weird that they changed the assault rifle. I mean it seems more useful, but it also looks like they were playing on easy so not the best demonstration of it. It looks cool, graphically just what you want from a remaster, but with how much I've played through Halo, I'm not sure I'm that interested, at least right now.
