I’m staring down the barrel of $105 games. Christ it’s 2001 all over again.

And, to make matters truly fucking deranged, the Switch 2 is less than $50 cheaper than a PS5 Slim. That is not a good place to be.

Nintendo pricing is hilarious as always. They prolly can get away with it but I'm not interested. They will need some massive exclusive to pull me in like dragon quest xii, and that multiplayer bloodborne thing certainly isn't it.


Man, fromsoft putting out so many multiplayer-centric games is giving me terrible post-skyrim-bethesda vibes. I sure hope this isn't the beginning of the death-spiral.

Also, having actually seen the footage of this new game, it's clearly a vampire game. Like Code Vein, but actually made by Fromsoft and focused on multiplayer. It has some visual elements from bloodborne due to being gothic horror themed but it kinda stops there.
