EA Cancels Black Panther Game, Closes Cliffhanger Games - IGN
Electronic Arts is canceling its planned Black Panther game and shutting down developer Cliffhanger Games, IGN has learned.www.ign.com
The co-CEO is none too happy to be hearing these things either.Man that Mindseye gameplay looks ROUGH. Kudos to them for having not particularly scripted gameplay, but the gunplay looks straight out of 2005.
Sucks to be him.The co-CEO is none too happy to be hearing these things either.
At the very least, he seems to take the critisms seriously, unlike those other assholes who brush it off as "lol don't care, I see money!"The co-CEO is none too happy to be hearing these things either.
Edit: Hrm, can't get it to preview like everyone else' links, even though the BB Code is the same. Weird
He also might want to get off his ass, and tell his asshole CEO co-workers to get straight or get the fuck out.At the very least, he seems to take the critisms seriously, unlike those other assholes who brush it off as "lol don't care, I see money!"
He needs a mental evaluation. Does he really think someone cares enough about this crappy game to pay people to criticize it? Or is it just delusions of grandeur, where he thinks the game is so fantastic that the only reason someone would speak badly of it is if they'd been paid to?The co-CEO is none too happy to be hearing these things either.
Are we seeing the second coming of Wii-U? or the reincarnation of virtual boy? All the signs are there:![]()
Nintendo Switch Game Compatibility with Nintendo Switch 2 - Nintendo US
Learn which Nintendo Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.www.nintendo.com
Welp, not touching this shit for a long while.
- 6 games that "cannot be used on" Switch 2
- 100 games "with start up issues"
- 50 games "that are playable, but have some in-game compatibility issues"
- 50 games "with issues that are planned to be addressed by launch or shortly after"
- 9 games that require Joy-Con controllers (not Joy-Con 2)
I am not betting on that yet. I think console is going to do fine enough, but it won't sell near the amount as the original Switch. I am riding out my Switch until Nintendo officially stops supporting. Are we seeing the second coming of Wii-U? or the reincarnation of virtual boy? All the signs are there:
And first one to start the chain-reaction of $80 games. True innovation, right there! /s
- The hardware build that seems to make most of the 3rd party games incompatible
- My gut intuition tells me there won't be too many exclusive titles either, just re-releases
- Focus on the gimmick or the features of the console rather than what games can be played
- Very few games that actually takes advantage of the said gimmicks
- Ridiculous pricing of the consoles
@CriticalGaming and @FakeSympathy, another problem with Switch 2: it is region locked. So you can't import games, because Nintendo are being petty bitches again. I don't understand why they would go backwards with this. Imports didn't hurt the Wii, Wii U, DS, 3DS, nor Switch especially. So it's even less of a reason to get this console for me.I imagine it'll just be another switch but prettier graphics and more expensive games.
I dont know how much that matters to the majority audience for the Switch tbh. I doubt it'll matter to the bottom line.I am not betting on that yet. No shit, but it's still a petty move on Nintendo's part. I don't have that many imports on Switch, but it sucks Nintendo is back to region locking, yet Sony and Microsoft let it go on with no trouble. MS even allows you to switch your Series X to different region profiles, in case a user has an imported OG XBOX or 360 game.I dont know how much that matters to the majority audience for the Switch tbh. Yes, it will definitely selll thanks to scalpers and shills. Especially during launch. But how many units will be sold during lifetime? Region locking isn't gonna help. Da fuq?I am not betting on that yet. I think console is going to do fine enough, but it won't sell near the amount as the original Switch.
