  • 6 games that "cannot be used on" Switch 2
  • 100 games "with start up issues"
  • 50 games "that are playable, but have some in-game compatibility issues"
  • 50 games "with issues that are planned to be addressed by launch or shortly after"
  • 9 games that require Joy-Con controllers (not Joy-Con 2)
Welp, not touching this shit for a long while.

Are we seeing the second coming of Wii-U? or the reincarnation of virtual boy? All the signs are there:
  • The hardware build that seems to make most of the 3rd party games incompatible
  • My gut intuition tells me there won't be too many exclusive titles either, just re-releases
  • Focus on the gimmick or the features of the console rather than what games can be played
  • Very few games that actually takes advantage of the said gimmicks
  • Ridiculous pricing of the consoles
And first one to start the chain-reaction of $80 games. True innovation, right there! /s

I am not betting on that yet. I think console is going to do fine enough, but it won't sell near the amount as the original Switch. I am riding out my Switch until Nintendo officially stops supporting.

I imagine it'll just be another switch but prettier graphics and more expensive games.
@CriticalGaming and @FakeSympathy, another problem with Switch 2: it is region locked. So you can't import games, because Nintendo are being petty bitches again. I don't understand why they would go backwards with this. Imports didn't hurt the Wii, Wii U, DS, 3DS, nor Switch especially. So it's even less of a reason to get this console for me.

I dont know how much that matters to the majority audience for the Switch tbh. I doubt it'll matter to the bottom line.

No shit, but it's still a petty move on Nintendo's part. I don't have that many imports on Switch, but it sucks Nintendo is back to region locking, yet Sony and Microsoft let it go on with no trouble. MS even allows you to switch your Series X to different region profiles, in case a user has an imported OG XBOX or 360 game.

Yes, it will definitely selll thanks to scalpers and shills. Especially during launch. But how many units will be sold during lifetime? Region locking isn't gonna help. Da fuq?

I am especially concerned regarding the gimmcks of switch 2 and the games that utilizes them; Apparently Metroid Prime 4 will be utilizing the mouse-like control, like this

This is cool and all, but how many other games will use this feature? Nintendo isn't exactly known for developing thier own fps games, and I have to wonder how many 3rd party game devs will be willing to go through the trouble of making it work on the mouse controls.
